In my opinion, there's no character in this game that's truly "braindead." Even top-tiers like Sonic, Mr. Game & Watch, and Steve take some skill to be good with.

No, a vegetable cannot have someone pick Steve for them and drool on the controller and win but when certain characters require like 5% skill/forethought to win meanwhile a lot of the roster requires full gamer-lean, forgetting to breathe and finger cramping to stand a chance - they’re pretty braindead lmaoo

braindead dededes are easy to deal with, just stay grounded, run up to/under them when they spam gordo then shield and/or punish hard. gordo spamming loses you the game
good dededes don't do that tho
