This year the focus is Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVAs).
Transportation is consistently ranked in the top 5 most dangerous jobs in the nation. Nearly 65% of all work-related deaths in the transportation industry are the result of a motor vehicle crash. And the majority of these accidents are completely avoidable. It is our mission to create more awareness for this problem and, hopefully, create mindfulness on the roadways. WHAT'S THE GAME PLAN?
This year the Safety Blitz will encompass the entire month of October. This gives participants an entire week to focus on a particular topic.
Downloadable flyers will include QR codes to our weekly quizzes for all employees (complete them for a chance to win gift cards!), as well as our #SB22 RUclips videos. Don't forget to share your pictures on Facebook with the #SafetyBlitz2022 tag for more chances to win!

October 3rd - 7th
[DISTRACTED DRIVING]
Jumping right in, this week's focus will be on the fastest-growing safety issue on the roads today, Distracted Driving.
October 10th - 14th
[SPEEDING]
The second week's focus will be on a major factor in traffic injuries and deaths, Speeding.
October 17th - 21st
[FATIGUE]
The mid-point of our Blitz, this week's focus will be on a common issue for truck drivers (and drivers in general), Fatigue.
October 24th - 28th
[TAILGATING]
This week's focus will be on a completely avoidable issue, Tailgating (no, we're not talking about the fun kind on football Saturdays).
October 31st - November 4th
[WEATHER]
Wrapping up our 2022 Safety Blitz for MVAs is how to act and react when Mother Nature decides to wreak her havoc on the Weather.
