@LifeStyleDidIt how to fix uneven 808 notes, compression is not fixing it..... it's like my first note in the progression which is G# (is sounding weak) compared to the next on coming notes those are F# , E , D# . ( F# and D# are sounding so warm and full) .. plz help how to fix it ... or is it some problems with my serum settings

Hey! Ik I'm not lifestyledidit LOLLL but I've come across this issue before and for me at least what I did was (in some cases) turn up the velocity when it hits that note bc the wavelength frequencies in most cases cancel eachother out when the 808 and the key of the note clash against eachother. Another option would be changing the key of the 808 fr ex if it was in G# and having that issue I would transfer it into A# or B# and if my melody and 808 were clashing with muddiness or not hitting as hard enough I would use an equalizer to lower the bass frequencies of said melody and boost the volume of my 808 slightly over the melody to give it that impact (hard) kick. But thats just my opinion im no professional just speaking out of experience to hopefully help ya out with your question. If that doesn't work im sorry tbh I dont even have serum anymore so im not even sure if it could be your settings thats why i didn't answer that concern lol but hope this helps! Oh also! Be sure to side chain your 808s and kicks to if there not hitting hard enough as u want in ur tracks

As you go higher low frequency will be decreased so either you could made melody which is more like ambient, or just sidechain your 808 with the thing on which 808 is clashing.

@@matthewmarchesi no you did answer it and I played with the velocity and also used a MD compressor to fix it... thanks oh i forgot I also had to uncheck the legato in serum to make it sound lil more even.

@@harshwardhannnn I had no clashing frequencies as i design my kick and 808 as one it's an 808kick... anyway it was something that I m not aware off , that F# was hitting harder and fuller than G# (weakest) even at same velocity level so fixed it by cranking up the velocity of all notes and then applied MB compression.

This Programm is FL Studio an very expensiv but there is a free Demo Version, which is full functionality but you can't save projects. A free good alternative is LMMS. Its like Fl Studio, but free.
