I'm a day late to the SLOC party this month, but that doesn't mean I wasn't looking forward to it or didn't enjoy it when I watched it. It's always fun to watch your creative process unfold. I've pulled out some of my scraps I've been sorting and will get some cards made up for my seniors I try to keep "in cards." #QOTV - I've learned that my coffee or tea gets cold and my fingers get too messy when I'm crafting, so I save my beverages and snacks for when I need a break of any kind. I get to stretch, move around, use the restroom, divert my attention elsewhere for a few minutes and re-energize myself. I don't have much space to work in and can easily make a food mess along with my crafting mess if I'm not careful. I'm looking forward to seeing what your collaborators have come up with. Thanks!

I love the process of stamping with two inks. Really pulls the colors together.
#QOTD if it is cold outside and I’m sitting down for a long crafting session I drink some hot tea- lately a cinnamony blend. If it is hot outside I drink seltzer water.

Great cards! While I craft I like to drink hot drinks such as fancy coffees and especially all kinds of hot teas. I don’t usually snack while crafting, but when I do I like to eat a few Swedish Fish candies.

Thanks for sharing the tip about using the grid acrylic block to make sure your cling sentiment stamp is straight! It’s so frustrating when you stamp a sentiment and it looks wonky. And my favorite crafty drink... coffee... always coffee.

#QOTV OH boy, I can spill food and drink so easily so I keep these things out of my craft room preferring for me to go to the snacks. Much tidier for me that way. 😊

I have a Stampin Up set called “itty bitty greetings” with a mass amount of sentiments.
And iced sweet tea gets me through any type of crafting. My dentist however.. 🤦🏼♀️🙄😬🤷🏼♀️

SO love the masculine cards! #QOTV I'm usually water, coffee or unsweet tea (all iced!) depending on the time of day. I like snacks that don't get my fingers sticky - usually i like almonds and I put them into a small cup so I can "pour" one into my mouth instead of touching them. :-)

#QOTV I always have a Diet Pepsi with lots of ice with me when I am stamping. The snack of choice is Cheetos so they can only come out during a break! I am so glad that I have found you. #qotv. I’m really trying to loose weight so I haven’t been snacking. If the weather is cold I drink hot tea, when it’s warmer I drink sparkling water. My favorite flavor water is grapefruit. Thank you for this new sheet load layout. It is greatly appreciated.

I do like these and will have a go at making them. #QOTV would be a cup of hot tea, strong with sugar and a dash of milk, I don't tend to eat snacks but if I'm on a video class, like this weekend I'm on a 3 day craft retreat via Zoom, I'll probably eat crisps and maybe some boiled sweets, but the tea usually suffices, can't do without my cuppa, but then I am from the UK, us British and their tea!!! Many thanks for your inspiration....

Love this sheetload. Re: the #QOTV - Diet coke, and usually chocolate. I like salty snacks, too, but they can be too messy. Fingers get greasy.
I have my craft desk in my bedroom so I can put my drink on the dresser, which is just to the right of me. Close enough to get to easily; far enough away to keep it from spilling on the stash/project. :)

#QOTV I don't eat sugar or starch at all, I eat a ketogenic lifestyle, so I usually watch your videos in the morning and I will have a decaf coffee with heavy cream and bit of Lily's chocolate. Yummy.

If I do have an inkling for some thing to drink, it will be either a Hot Latte or Ice Diet drink (ginger ale, root beer or Big red), hard candy of any kind or gum. These are just what I need right now! My Nephew's birthday is Saturday so I better get to it! Thank you so much Alicia!

#QOTV My go to snack is m&m’s, beef jerky & reg coke. I have a small fridge in my craft space to keep my drinks cold. And yes, I do keep water in there too. 😂😂

#QOTV I love to much on candy (milk chocolate covered sea salt caramels!) and chips at crops. I like to drink sweet tea (definitely my favorite) or sometimes a hot chocolate with marshmallows, but honestly water is what I try to drink! I enjoy these sheet load videos and find them inspiring!!

Awesome template this month, Alicia! I rarely snack when I'm crafting. I do have a small container of Jolly Rancher candies in one of the drawers in my craft desk, but I rarely dip into them. I might have two or three candies per month, if that. I do always have a big glass of water on my desk though. I keep it in a Tervis tumbler with a lid so there's less risk of water going everywhere if I accidentally knock it over while I'm crafting. #QOTV
I really like that idea with the jolly ranchers - May have to see if I have a jar sitting around I could put some little treats in. Thank you for taking the tine to watch and share. :)

These cards are awesome! I love the stamp off you did with the sailboats. I tend to forget that method, and will need to try it. The fishtail banners are super cute, just love that added touch! As for the banner strip you made with the postage punch, Creative Memories makes, or at least had in the past, a postage rotary blade you could use with their trimmer. I know they replaced the trimmer, and not sure if the rotary blades are still in production. If anyone is interested, it might be worth checking their website.
As for favorite snacks/drinks, I'm plain Jane when it comes to that. I just bring my water bottle down with me, and if I do snack, which is pretty rare, I'll nibble on some nuts. I'll be looking through my papers and stamp sets today to see what will look great together in creating this awesome sketch!

Very nice sketch Alicia. I have over 50 12x12 unused paper pads but could I use any of them for this month, oh no, I just had to order more paper (I think I might have a paper problem, lol) As soon as I get my paper I'll make my cards and make a video. QOTV I usually have a travel thermos of hot water that shares a designated spot with my eyeglasses, -away from my elbows. I like any snack that doesn't create messy fingers (no cheezies) sweet/salty.

Good idea to keep the soda on a different surface. I don't always do top fold, but they are definitely my favorite and what I do most. TFW
There's a no drinking or eating rule in the craftroom that keeps spills to a minimum and encourages me to get up and stretch. Some day I'll have a craft table that allows me to craft while standing but for now I have to sit while I craft.
Good idea to get up and stretch every so often. I now have a standing desk and sometimes I just want to sit down ;) TFW

Cherie, I bought that kraft cardstock years ago when I had access to a paper store/warehouse - that usually sold to businesses. Not sure what I'm gonna do when I run out... TFW!
#QOTV-I don't usually have a snack while crafting but when I do it's going to be chocolate. 😁 My favorite beverage would be sweet tea w/no ice. I notice that you almost always use ink spots with your projects. Is that your ink of choice? I have full size ink pads but am slowly collecting the spots. Blessings to you!
Connie, I recently got the the full-sized pads, but the Navy was out of stock when I ordered. I decided to keep the ink pad sizes the same for the video - and I think after having only the spots for so long, sometimes I forget about the full sized pads :) TFW!

#QOTV....most of my crafting is done between 4 and 8 am, depending on when I get up. So it would be coffee, but a lot of time it sits and gets cold! I forget to drink it!

#QOTV I love lemonade with lots of opal ice. In the winter, Pumpkin Hot Chocolate or Hot Cider. I love these cards and really needed to make masculine cards. Thank you.

@@CallMeCraftyAl yes I do. My husband surprised me several years ago for Christmas. I was chewing ice like crazy and it turns out that I was anemic. So I still love the ice but don't chew as frantically now that I am taking iron tablets. ;)
there are several stamp sets with complete sentiments still in production: MFT has 2, Essential Sentiments and More Essential Sentiments. Clearly Besotted has a set, and I think Taylored Expressions has a set. I like the MFT ones. #QOTV: always coffee in some form and I usually dont snack while crafting.

I was going to recommend a sentiment set I got from The Ton but it looks like it may also be discontinued. MFT does some great all-sentiment sets but The Ton’s one was nice because it was an italic serif font, a bit more elegant/classic.

QOTV I drink plain 'ol water. Lots of it when I'm in the craft room. I need to get a small refrigerator so I have cold water instead of cool tap. Too lazy to go back downstairs to get it from the kitchen fridge. 😁
I need to drink more "plain 'ol water". that is a great idea to get a little fridge in your craft area. I have the opposit problem - I don't want to go UPstairs ;) TFW!

I like your cards! They make excellent male cards, something I frequently struggle with. #QOTV: I never eat while crafting, and I only drink water. My crafting space is so small and crowded, I am afraid of spillage onto my cards. Ask me how I know!
