Cody, I used to live in an old Craftsman house as a kid. I loved it like crazy but it was beyond haunted. It was primarily the spirit of a man , who most nights would come clomping through the house on those lovely wood floors, slamming first the Front for then the back door on his way through the house waking everyone - including my 🔫 toting dad - looking for a trespasser of the human kind. He began to suspect that my older siblings were playing practical jokes on him & he would attempt to catch them at it, without avail. The thing that convinced him it was a spirit was me, as a little kid, telling him about the big man who came and sat in the rocking chair in my room, after he walked noisily through the house. At first he passed over my story as a kids imagination. Then concerned that the intruder might be after more than robbery or mischief he curled up next to me in my bed for a night, bent on catching the intruder. I had told my Dad that this was a nice man who just looked out for me while I slept, but the thought of someone in his baby girls bedroom must have scared the bejesus out of him. He told me a bedtime story then we drifted off to sleep. The man came and instead of sitting in the rocker I woke to him standing next to the bed, staring at my Dad who woke then saw this spirit looking back at him. Before he could scramble out of the bed, the spirit disappeared before our eyes. My Dad was stunned. He got me all tucked in again and went back to my parents room to finish sleeping - that’s if he could? He stopped trying to see who was walking through the house. And for the spirits part, he was largely quiet, only occasionally thumping through the house. Perhaps my Dad & he realized they were both on the same mission? We found out later from an elderly neighbor that the man who had built this old Craftsman beauty had had himself buried under the house he loved. This was when you could still do things like this and get away with it because in many places in the US final wishes in a will are still honored. Particularly rural places. He was a Farmer who rose very early in the morning - before first light - to tend to his animals and go about his day, farming his lands. When I saw him in my rocker, he was wearing big brown unlaced boots. I think that’s why he clumped so noisily through the house while walking. Or maybe he made such noises to let us know he was there? That he was patrolling? Maybe he was lonely… That’s what I think - that he was lonely & just wanted company - I was never afraid of him. He didn’t look or act in the least scary.
What a great story! Wow. yea, it must be the guy who built the home. I lived in an old 2 story on a river in the 80's. At times late we heard this banging as if a sledgehammer was wailing on heavy pipe. And I woke up to an apparition at foot of my bed. But I was like you, never scared.

I think it became too good a thing because it seems no paranormal investigators could last one night in that house without having the wits scared out of them. 😱
I remember watching this story on "The Haunted" episodes on Animal Planet, gave me wicked chills. Then, paranormal investigators have been filming in there but, barely caught any proof of the paranormal. Well done on sharing this story. Your voice gave it the perfect creepiness. Excellent work! 🤜🤛
Interesting! I haven't seen that one. But I love shows like that. I'll see if I can find it. And thank you my friend. I try my best to do the story justice :)
Yea I live like 45 minutes from there and I was so surprised to see it on tv because nothing really in our area gets noticed like that. Except a flood back in the 90s in shadyside Ohio
New sub. Lived in a 2 story Victorian in the Vineyard neighborhood of Dallas, TX early 80’s during my college years. This place had a reputation for being “haunted”. One evening as I sat studying, there were the distinct sounds of footsteps coming down the hall outside my room. They stopped just short of the closed door. At that moment all the hair on my body stood up and I knew something paranormal was happening. Then came a strong smell of perfume which gradually dissipated. I understand the house was purchased and made into a law office. I sometimes wonder if the activity still occurs and hope that office hours don’t extend beyond nightfall,,,
I have a good friend who was living in the first apartment she had with her husband and one day she was in the kitchen scrubbing the floor down on her hands and knees and she heard the front door open and footsteps start walking towards her from behind and she assumed it was her husband and was like oh hey honey how was your day I've been doing all right blah blah blah in the footsteps got right up behind her and stopped and she turned around to talk to him and of course there was no one there and the front door was shut and she heard stuff like that before but she said that one was the most frightening because it seemed so mundane until she turned around to nobody.
When I was 5, my parents moved my family to a tiny town called Lipscomb in the Texas panhandle. It had at the time a total population of 20(including my family of 4) we moved there for my dads job in the oilfield. My parents rented a 2 story house that was built in the late 1800’s with the intention of buying it. It was a beautiful old home and everything was going great at first until my father began hearing noises of people walking around the house and loud crashes. He kept it to himself for about a month until my mother began noticing the strange events. It took a dark turn and we moved out after only living there for 3 months. My parents have a strong Christian faith and we practically lived in the church. They didn’t believe in the paranormal or ghosts until that house made them and our entire family believers. I still will occasionally have a nightmare about that house and I’m 23 now.
That certainly sounds like quite the experience to have lived through. Sometimes it takes truly experiencing these things to make one believe. I'm also not shocked that it's in your dreams. I too still have nightmares about the houses that I've experienced. I hope you all are safe now.
Your parents are strong Christians, but had a hard time believing in a ghost? I find it interesting how some people fall into this catagory. I am not attempting to be malicious, however - can you see where I am going with this? I just find it interesting.

@@MysteryArchives I enjoyed this episode too, I grew up in a big house built in 1910, don't know much about the history of the house or land. I only know that for around 18 years, me and my family experienced an array of different spooky to down right saf things. Nothing nearly as bad as what this poor family went through. Maybe some day all the entities that dwell in the house in your video will be able to find peace and move on to wherever it is supposed to stay. Maybe this family will get a happy ending as well. Thank you for sharing your story with us. And thank you for your work on getting it to us. Be safe out there everyone.
Man, I’m new 2 the channel, & I can tell u right now. This is already 1 of my favorite channels. They r put together very well. & EXCELLENT JOB narrating!
This is absolutely 💯 truly haunted. I grew up in Bellaire when I was younger and I went into this house once. When you walk in the energy changed and the hair stood up on the back of my neck. There isn't just one spirit, multiple. I had bad nightmares and never stepped foot inside again. Very bad spirits and nothing to joke about. To me it seem like this house had a portal straight to hell. Warning!!! If you do decide to visit, I would get blessed by a preacher first. This video brought back memories and I am glad to never experience this ever again in my life.
What's up with the homes next door? Do they have issues as well? They're pretty old and decrepit looking too and it would be odd if they didn't have stuff going on there as well.
I feel for anyone who has had a negative paranormal experience in a house. I lived in a haunted house for 11 years. This was a intelligent haunting and this thing targeted my youngest son! It showed itself to me as my eldest son, who was fast asleep in his room! We ended up moving when things started to escalate! Scares me to think about it to this day!
Why some people experience such paranormal things but others go a lifetime without experiencing anything. It honestly makes me a little skeptical of peoples stories. Not that I’m sure it matters but I’m just curious
@@triplehayes6416 I totally get the "I'll believe it when I see it" mentality, but then once u see it.... total brain fuck, start questioning everything u thought u knew was real or not... total game changer

My mother bought the house that I'm currently living in. She bought it in 1987 and she died 5 years ago. This house is haunted. Seriously. But the spirit that's haunting this place is not malevolent. She just likes to scare people. Like me,my daughter, my friends and my mother!
I'm glad to hear that the spirit isn't evil Darci. I suppose if it's worth living with & putting up with and isn't trying to harm you. Then you're good? Lol.

There's no such thing as Casper the friendly ghost. Demons will come in the form of a child or a dead loved one in order to deceive their victims. Demons are not your friends and they do not wish you well. Don't engage with them at all and just plead the blood of Christ over them.
Melissa Cole - I’m going to agree with some points and disagree with others you had mentioned. I lived with both, malevolent and benevolent spirits, in the various places that I had lived in. I’ve been “followed” by a tall male figure throughout my life until I married my husband. This tall male figure was my great-great grandfather, who I never met, but he “protected” me from being harmed. This male figure was my moms great-grandfather, who she only met once, and he came to me when I was 3, and when I described him to my mom, she became afraid. Since then, I’ve been able to sense the spiritual realm, just like my mom. Living with my great-grandma, my dads’ grandma, there was a malevolent force in that house. Whatever was there wanted me dead, but I relied heavily upon prayer (I still do) to make it go away, and my great-great grandpa was there to protect me from that entity. Now, I do believe wholeheartedly that there are many benevolent spirits here that just don’t want to cross over, for whatever reason they may have, and they feel like it’s their duty to protect us living beings from harm. However, they do not like change, especially to their home. That’s why we must ask them permission to renovate their home. It’s a sign of respect. I wholeheartedly believe that we CAN live harmoniously with benevolent spirits. Those who have died very quickly and violently don’t realize that they’re dead, so they go through the same process as they had done when alive. So, they’re going to turn on the water, flush toilets, move things around, etc. They’re mad because they feel like the living is encroaching on their privacy, and moved into their home without their permission. These spirits are NOT demonic! Demonic entities are absolutely frightening! There ARE signs that there’s something demonic in the home. These signs are as follows: unexplained bruises on a person, scratches in the form of 3, cold spells in certain areas of the home, a foul smell that comes from all areas and cannot be confirmed coming from one particular area of the home, many insect infestations centering a certain area of the house, feeling of dread every single minute staying in the house, any and all religious artifacts destroyed, damaged or disappeared, animals that pay particular attention to a certain area of the home or they absolutely refuse to enter a certain area of the home, seeing “children” when there’s no child in the home and no child had been recorded as dying in the home or around the property, scratching noises that seem that it’s happening all around the home or stemming from a particular area, etc. Now, I believe that before anyone moves into a home, do research on the home and property. Make absolute sure that there wasn’t any sudden or suspicious deaths that happened in the home or on the property; if there was, do not purchase the home! See how many people have “owned” the home and property, and see how long each person/family have lived in the home and property; if there seems to be many people/families and they only live there for less than 2 years, then there’s something very, very wrong with the house and property! Do not purchase it! It also SHOULD be cleansed, blessed and protected by a religious leader BEFORE you move into the home!
Also come as your spirit guides. Anything to get close to a human body. As corrupt as the world’s becoming again I wouldn’t be surprised if some have entertained evil spirits unaware

What surprises me is that all the home owners never really seemed to do any research on the house before buying, and after buying they never did a spiritual clenasing of the home.

Yeah well you don't need to go to specific places just ask around family and friends you'll be surprised I've caught some crazy EVPs not even trying to one was with my son laying on my stomach when he was a few months old and I was saying telling him to say a word and in the deepest most raspy voice you can imagine sounding like a demon a voice said say definitely it was beyond scary but anything like that is definitely demonic in nature so when you start dabbling in it it draws that stuff I used to a lot but I quit it draws a lot of negative energy to your life and when I started to have things happen in my home I called out in the name of Jesus and bless my house and it would stop so I know that it's evil entities it says we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities of darkness so be careful

Yea I live like 45 minutes from there and I was so surprised to see it on tv because nothing really in our area gets noticed like that. Except a flood back in the 90s in shadyside Ohio
Excellent presentation! Thank you for all the work you do on this channel!
Thank you so much ghost! Seems to be a fitting channel for you given your name haha 👻
Dang Jill! That sounds absolutely terrifying :O
I worked in nursing homes for 20+ years. I have had my share of weird things happened but only 1 that truly scare the daylights out of me.

Small world Bobbie. Thank you so much for watching 🙏🤍

My goodness Danielle, that experience sounds utterly terrifying. Thank you for sharing.
Is it the one when you are going into Bellaire and is it up on a hill? If so I’m glad I didn’t go see it. I always lived that home
I loved that home. Oops.
I got Migraines the instant I walked in, my good friend was scratched there.
What's up with the homes next door? Do they have issues as well? They're pretty old and decrepit looking too and it would be odd if they didn't have stuff going on there as well.
I think I saw an episode about this house on one paranormal tv show or another but this is by far the best telling of a paranormal story I’ve heard.
Thank you so much Chassy :)
Much love, brother! Thanks for the video
Thank you so much Tene, as always my friend :)
So excited for this episode!!
Thank you so much EssenceofWendigo! I'm just stoked to have you excited to watch / listen. It makes all the work worth it. :)

It truly is a horrific thing to experience. I'm sorry you and your family had to experience that. Good lord.

Lol.

@@barneyronnie interesting suggestion. Where do they offer that?
@@MysteryArchives Look online. There's a few schools that offer it. I liked your video on the Bellaire house. I live near Pittsburgh, Pa and am only 40 miles from there. Thanks!
There's no such thing as Casper the friendly ghost. Demons will come in the form of a child or a dead loved one in order to deceive their victims. Demons are not your friends and they do not wish you well. Don't engage with them at all and just plead the blood of Christ over them.
I agree with you there Melissa. Demons masquerading as children has to be one of the most despicable things I can imagine.
@@larryshaffer1876 Satan's minions are very tricky. I learned mediative prayer and yoga was inviting spirits and I actually thought I was feeling the presence of the Holy Ghost.

Great narration Kody. I I’ve watched every one and often go back and watch again. It seems in the case of this house that the son who did the seance opened a door and demonic entities entered into the house. The door is still open. That’s what I sense upon watching this again. Take care Kody. I look forward to the next one.

What surprises me is that all the home owners never really seemed to do any research on the house before buying, and after buying they never did a spiritual clenasing of the home.
I mean not a lot of people tend to think of these kinds of things before purchasing or moving into a home unfortunately.
@@MysteryArchives yeah that's true, it's one of the first things i do if i look at a place to rent is i talk to all the old folks in town and find out what i can about the history of the place, I then do a mandatory spirit cleansing.
Personally, I like prefer the thrill of it all.
Sometimes they don't work & you can make that spirit or many spirits angry. Have to be careful on spiritual cleanses because most don't know what their dealing with.
Serious hauntings often don’t respond to a “cleanse”. It often makes things worse.

Years ago I was in a paranormal group, TSP. We did investigations all over, even went as far as Mayesville. But one of teh most eerie was Bobby Mackie's. Didn't pick up any activity on camera but I have some wild EVPs. I miss going on investigations
