Thank you for actually showing what you can do with plus frames. Too many people just say “you’re plus” and then don’t provide any clue what that actually means
I must say some flowchart guide here: 1) Evasion strongly depends on distance. After, for example, b1 on block, the shoulder (d1+2), beats all types of jabs because it creates some distance. The same is after 1,4 low, etc... 2) db1+2, the Claudio's DP evades ALL kind of jabs if the Claudio's advantage is 0 or better. And evades 90% jabs if it's -3 or better. Reina's has a very big vertical hitbox and can be evaded at 0 advantage or better. So doing db1+2 after the opponent's df1 is a really good idea. 3) hopkick in crouch state consistently evades highs. 4) Df4 creates distance - you know what is this means. Evasive flowcharts on block. Just keep experimenting what's works.
I'm at mighty ruler so I think it's the low rank but it happens to me a lot to meet people that just press after blocking wr2 o duck when they see me approaching, they never mix the 2 So if they duck I just go df12
Compared to all the dragunovs and azucenas online, I feel far too honest with Claudio. At least we're unlikely to be hit with as many nerfs as the rest of em 😂
I feel this so much. Almost exclusively played Miguel for nearly all of my 1200 hrs on Tekken 7, had to switch mains while he's busy warming up the bench (until Season 2 from the looks of it). It's a little uphill climb trying to get used to Claudio since he doesn't really have cheese and his lows aren't even close to threatening, so it's a little harder to open up people. I get to play like a Quincy though, so that's nice. 4,2 is the best new move in the game, bar none. 🏹
I made it to Mighty Ruler with Claudio and that lasted all of an hour lol. The entire cast except Zafina have so many pressure tools or can hit you out of your best tools and transition into a full combo.
Thank you im having a hard time to get to red ranks. Because you cant do cheap things anymore even with the f22 pushback all the good players punish it. I really need to practice the df3 hit confirm. SB db1+2 is plus 2
i am currently at flame ruller and i will tell you that for me to open up someone its getring harder, i feel like they can do so much against me and while i am limited. although with heat i can open them better, however its not like i have heat forever.
Great guide, I was kinda hoping you would go into the starburst moves aswell cause I know there are plus frames there too. I've started using the F1+2 1+2 launcher for checking my plus frames
I dont use db3 it's too see able so I never use it unless I really need a comeback and wr2 you just have to use more ff4 and b1 to stop the ducks really so wr2 becomes stronger then
I feel like his mids are nowhere near as good as they need to be considering his lack of low options. If they arent going to give him a proper low I think he should get a safe ch launcher or regular launcher without starburst.
Maybe we should be throwing out the new f3+4 in certain situations when weare adv in high level because ppl step who know the frames? NH launcher now after all? Also 12 into df1 can also check instead of b3 I guess (bring back ch 12 pls)
F3+4 can be an option I guess with it being a launch its just not homing anymore and it's a high so the slight risk of a duck of course but defo can be used and the reason you should use b3 over df1 is because df1 is i15 and b3 is i13 so it's just quick and b3 has a safer follow up option with b3,3
i try to use ss4 and db3 when it's possible and as often as i could, so when opp see me ss i just df1,2 for free he sure needs some decent low, but that's not really a big problem if you condition your opponent, i feel like claudio is playing street fighter zoner neutral in tekken 8 lmaooo

it's honest but it's a lot of dmg for what it requires. People get surprised how fast they get slapped with claudio

I think its cos db2 is unique to claudio and db1 every character has so its a universal thing
