The slower tempo is just appropriate for the children without murdering the exact lyrics if it is sung faster than the adult choirs. The Cebuano words can be a mouthful if you do not know how to say it. Their diction is on point coming from a native Cebuano speaker. Naturally it starts slow then increases the tempo in fast mode in the middle part then louder and faster towards the excitement part of the drooling saliva (laway). Bravo to the children's choir and conductor. A job well done!

As a native speaker of Cebuano, they have the right tempo for Rosas Pandan. It is sung much slower than the new choral arrangement. And for kids, it will be a challenge if they sing it fast knowing the difficulty of the language pronunciation coming from a foreign tongue.
