If there's no security, or very little, next time I say we band together and be their security. Step in when needed. Nothing violent, of course. If something like this happens again, someone follow the person on stage and try to pull them back off stage. Or, stop the person as they're walking up.

It's disgraceful! This is the biggest con in the UK and they have no security for the main stage! This guy was apparently causing all kinds of disruptions over the weekend, word is he was fined but the damage is done and Joey was left feeling uneasy about the whole event.
As someone who was there the fan could easily have had a knife or some form of weapon. The security checks were abysmal you just had to open your bag security would peak in for half a second not move anything around and you could just go. I was only using the front section of my backpack cause there’s a hole in the main compartment and I wasn’t even asked to open the main compartment the security couldn’t have seen the hole either.

When you are organizing events like this, organizers should always have security. It doesn't matter if he boys are not A-list celebrities. They are public figure and their lives could have been put at risk by that guy. This is a failure in organizing and I would reject any future invitations from them. Seeing this and hearing Joey's version are 2 different things. I feel like what Joey said on his 2nd Channel made it seem worse than this makes it appear, but I'm pretty sure that this video is probably just not portraying it as badly as it really was. If I had to guess it's probably because Joey and the boys seemed to handle this exceptionally well and therefore it appears downplayed how nutty the situation actually was.
The boys managed to handle the situation well by Ignoring the guy, not escalating the situation and continuing the panel without any delays... gotta give credit for the professionalism of the boys most people would freak out physically if put on that situation. I feel like Garnt managed to scare him away gracefully with the “This isn’t the place, mate.” That would be terrifying if the guy had been violent, but luckily he was just a goof that clearly didn’t think that decision through. Only other time I saw this was at a concert, but they had security and they tackled his ass so fast, like as soon as he hit the stage he hit the floor and no one else tried it after seeing it.
