Pride… It’s a double-edged sword. It fuels us, gives us the strength to rise when everything else crumbles. It’s the fire in our hearts that pushes us forward, that makes us believe we’re worth something. Without pride, we’re nothing but hollow shells, bending to the whims of the world. But pride… pride is dangerous. When we let it consume us, it blinds us. It makes us forget those we care about, makes us trample over others just to stay at the top. In the end, it’s the same fire that burns us alive, leaving nothing but ashes. So tell me… when will you stop letting your pride control you?
