As a person who has followed you for years, I can tell you that you have progressed so much as a rider. You are elegant and careful and you teach your horses to be as well. You cannot see it from where you stand but we can. Well done Meg!
I love these videos of jumping multiple horses😍 its always interesting watching how you ride the ponies differently especially when it comes to their ages! x
The more she matures, the more Winnie reminds me of her mother. She didn’t really start paying attention until the oxer, and then she folded nicely over it. You have the nicest soft elbows when you ride and the best posture. You have a good instinct for how to go over a jump. Trust yourself. You’re brilliant. Really!
Jam bam is on fire 🔥 🙌 amazing pony!!! She's full of beans because she's at her up most fitness, and she's probably feeling it! She's such an amazing pony she really is. You've done amazingly with her megs. You really have! 🎉 hats off to you all for the amount of work put into the ponies to get them at this level where they themselves are feeling fantastic 👏 xx
i get it now - i originally had the wrong attitude about Jam's behavior patterns in my concerns assuming it was her just attempting to be the boss of the rider when really i didn't realize she is more relatable than i thought. Now i get it, she is overly willing and serious about what she loves doing and she has the all or nothing mentality like i do such as a perfectionist. There is no in between , only an on or off switch. So this is a great idea you trained her with and i have noticed much improvements since this video was posted. Just like her i was trying too hard in life making things more complex than they had to be. I absolutely love and appreciate team work for it really does benefit everyone involved.
Jam is looking awesome, it’s just my opinion but after her injury she has come back looking better than ever. I can’t wait for Winnie to be out and about, she reminds me of how Jam was when you first started eventing her. You are going to have another epic mare ❤
Winnie has a beautiful pop in her Meg she’s definitely going to be a great eventer. Jam did look strong but she’s a fab jumper. Meg your a very good rider please stop doubting yourself you can do this it’s in your blood.tfs😎🏇😎
Well done Meg…I agree with Hobbit, don’t worry so much about what lead Jam’s on. She’s clever enough to either put strides on or take a long one. This is what these practices are all about. It’s up to her to sort her legs out.
I just wanted to say ive been watching you for a while now and i actually started riding because of how inspirational you are xx 😂❤ I've also had a hard few months because I sadly lost a close family member but watching your videos have cheered me up, I hope you succeed in your amazing riding keep it up Meg ❤😊
Everyone is excited about Winnie’s jump (which is promising), meanwhile I am excited for her dressage. My god those paces when she comes from the hind 😍
I realise that she doesn't give as much with her reins over the jumps with Jam. I'm guessing that's bc of her enthusiasm and habit to pull through the bridle
I really love to see you progress with Winnie. I think that when she canters more together she will take her back feet better over the jump. Keep up the good work 💪
Love seeing some Hobbit supported riding! Would you consider doing a video on the different tack you use for your girls and why? I know you’ve talked about your saddles, but I find it so interesting why riders choose certain bits/bridles/girths for their noble steeds. For my boy, if I ride him in anything other than bitless or an egg butt snaffle, it’s an immediate demerit from him to me haha.
I love your vids but I think Winnie only cares about the jump when it is higher up sense she jumped it perfectly in the end but the cross poles she knocks over sometimes but u guys r making great progress ❤❤❤🐴🐴
Confidence issues do the darndest things don’t they, I’m sat watching this in my dressing gown eating donuts when I should be riding 🤷♀️😆 Winnie looks fabulous, there’s an exciting little eventer in there somewhere!! 🎉
She reminds me a bit of Holly lenahans old mare who initially was like Winnie, until holly put the fences up and she started to respect them lol! 1m20 pony there for sure Meg, 2* 😂💪
All I just love them! Who’s measuring bigger Jam or Winnie? Winnie seems to look much taller than usual here, has she had a growth spurt? Still waiting for more grey to peep through 😮 do you recon if you clip her we might be surprised what we see? Love these home training vlogs 🤩
I've always found making them halt before turning at the end of the arena helps with them being strong. Lots of transitions. Making them trot in. Keep varying it up so she can't just pull. You do a great job but just some thoughts if they help at all. :)
So sorry to hear that, break ups SUCK! But take it from me, they always happen for a reason and I promise you will be happier in the end, whatever happens ♥️
Amazing job with both Jam and Winnie! I can tell that Jam's gears are starting to turn in her head in regards to slowing down with jumping poles and that Winnie isn't fazed by these small jumps at all. Both horses love to jump, that's for sure! Is there an Ari update coming soon? I had always hoped he and Winnie would be in work and go eventing together someday, I'm sure Winnie would have a lot less anxiety if he were there since I know those half siblings are best buds.
Hi Meg just a question I have a 1year old pony and I would like to get him experienced with like say balloons and stuff like that. It would be nice to have a video of what you do with your young ones to get them used to thing. Maybe a video of what you do with Ettie❤😊🎉. Any way your my fav yt
Hey Meg! A way to help with all the thinking before jumping is, sing any song out loud where you know the lyrics and if you can sing it without stoping while jumping etc than theoretically you will jump better because you won’t be thinking about what could happen. Please give this a try, I hope it helps you. Wish you all the luck! ❤
Both horses did a beautiful job, I think Winnies gonna turn out to be an amazing event horse❤ By the way, where did you get your jumps, because I´m looking for new jumps.
Can u do a update on Eddie ❤🎉also your a amazing rider and honestly I would’ve not jumped a young horse that big if I was riding u definitely have a lot of confidence or have know her that much to be jumping that big🎉❤
Omg whinnie is a star in the making. I can just feel it. When she accepts the contact, she goes really nicely and that jump! WOW!
As a person who has followed you for years, I can tell you that you have progressed so much as a rider. You are elegant and careful and you teach your horses to be as well. You cannot see it from where you stand but we can. Well done Meg!
Winnie looking more and more promising. Good paces and pop, and her conformation has evened out beautifully. 👏🏻.
I love these videos of jumping multiple horses😍 its always interesting watching how you ride the ponies differently especially when it comes to their ages! x
Yessss me too
Agreed ❤❤
Omg yas agreed

You and Jam are poetry in motion. She is so strong and elegant. You rode wonderfully! Fun to watch Winnie too! All the best from Michigan, USA!

I’d agree, I think the rehab work really helped her, and I make sure to incorporate it into her day-to-day work now.
Great job with both girls! And since I know how it turned out at Frickley, clearly your confidence-building plan WORKED PERFECTLY! 🙂
Great job Meg. Winnie is coming along so beautifully. What a great youngster you have.
Aww I miss these styles of vlogs, just you at home playing with the ponies! Old school days!! 😊
Winnie has a beautiful pop in her Meg she’s definitely going to be a great eventer. Jam did look strong but she’s a fab jumper. Meg your a very good rider please stop doubting yourself you can do this it’s in your blood.tfs😎🏇😎

Trust. Trust her. You’re a partnership. And give up a touch of control. Jam is awesome.
Everyone is excited about Winnie’s jump (which is promising), meanwhile I am excited for her dressage. My god those paces when she comes from the hind 😍
Love Jam, always so eager, and Winnie looks like she is going to be a good one. She did so well.
Awww. Winnie is amazing she's really working it out. Jam is so happy to jump 🎉🎉
I just can't help but smile when you ride Winnie woo ❤ She's just so adorable and oh my has she matured so much in a few months!
I love Winnie woos tail with the grey highlights😊
I love how Jam is so chill as she is having the bridle on.
I realise that she doesn't give as much with her reins over the jumps with Jam. I'm guessing that's bc of her enthusiasm and habit to pull through the bridle
both girls are looking fabulous ❤. Would love to see a video about what saddle you use on each of your horses, both jumping and dressage wise.
Oh my goodness! That's some great thinking going on! Love ❤️ it!
Such beautiful horses i ❤watching them jump
You are just the best rider ever! I absolutely love your horses. Make sure not to pull on dee dees face too much
Jam is sooo cute falling asleep whilst you’re putting her bridle on 😭 ❤
I really love to see you progress with Winnie. I think that when she canters more together she will take her back feet better over the jump. Keep up the good work 💪
i loooove the home riding vlogs theyre my favourite second to eventing vlogs ofc❤❤❤❤❤
i love how your gaining more confidence on a young horse!!! ❤
So love watching these videos
We need a foal update! And potential breeding plans for next year 💙
Winnie is going to mature into a super little horse!
Such a beautiful set with the hat en pad ❤️
Would love a comparison video of Jam at the same age as Winnie
IT was so good watching you and how all of you get involved .
Love seeing some Hobbit supported riding!

I love these types of video, they are both looking fab!
Both gorgeous! Can't wait to y'all get even better. I feel like Winnie likes the bigger ones and the smaller ones are like below her🤣
I love these at home jumping videos, reminds of all of the ones of bear before the preggo journey ❤
Love watching you ride and watch your ponies!
I’m so excited for you. I hope everything goes well. Keep going.❤
I love your vids but I think Winnie only cares about the jump when it is higher up sense she jumped it perfectly in the end but the cross poles she knocks over sometimes but u guys r making great progress ❤❤❤🐴🐴
I love watching you're videos ❤
There so inspiring x
Love watching your journey
I can’t wait to watch your video! You’re literally amazing and your riding is beautiful!❤❤
Confidence issues do the darndest things don’t they, I’m sat watching this in my dressing gown eating donuts when I should be riding 🤷♀️😆 Winnie looks fabulous, there’s an exciting little eventer in there somewhere!! 🎉
I love your videos currently sat with a broken wrist so watching this makes me feel a little bit better ❤️ well done at frickley xx

@@elphick.event.ponies Meg don’t doubt yourself! You could definitely get there ! ❤

She’s certainly shooting up, I think she might be slightly bigger than Jam now. I’m hoping it will be a few years until she greys out 🤞🏼

hey meg, i just went through a terrible breakup and ive been feeling the absolute worst. thank u so much for cheering me up in these tough times ❤️
So sorry to hear that, break ups SUCK! But take it from me, they always happen for a reason and I promise you will be happier in the end, whatever happens ♥️

I love Jam!! She's so cute!!
Classic Hobbs, “ oh no I’ll have to go in for some lunch” when Meg’s about to ride the young one😂
Bravo! That was fun to watch
Hi meg can we have a video on how to set this up
Amazing job with both Jam and Winnie! I can tell that Jam's gears are starting to turn in her head in regards to slowing down with jumping poles and that Winnie isn't fazed by these small jumps at all. Both horses love to jump, that's for sure!

What are the spacing for the poles? To try at home I wouldn’t know the striding for the fences? Thank you ❤
Wowsers Winnie really is jumping brilliantly, she seems to like the bigger jumps! 😂
You’ve done so well! Bet you’ll be out eventing in no time x
They're both looking so cool😍 Well done with Frickley! (also I love the photos at the end, theyre so gorgeous 😍)

Jam is the original “fire breathing dragon” isn’t she? I love her!
Does jammy have a new saddle? X

New saddle? Noticed it in the suko vlogs
Hi. I hope it's the last Gray, but I think it's 4yo Bay you saw the first day.
Wow whinnie is going to be so cool when she’s older ❤
Love your vids so much Meg!!!❤❤❤
Both horses did a beautiful job, I think Winnies gonna turn out to be an amazing event horse❤

Thanks@@elphick.event.ponies
You and Jam look epic
And of course Whinnie too, see is so sweet
Lmao “her prime is not coinciding with my not prime.” I hear that…
Why have u changed saddles? X
Hobbit it the OG videographer, she doesn't give herself enough credit!!
Smashed it didn’t she 👏🏻
Your jump position on jam was soooo much better than I've ever seen it before Meg! Well done!! X
Can u do a update on Eddie ❤🎉also your a amazing rider and honestly I would’ve not jumped a young horse that big if I was riding u definitely have a lot of confidence or have know her that much to be jumping that big🎉❤
