That was Buff Buu (South Supreme Kai) they were talking about. You can see that same Buff Buu in the flashback when Kid Buu was killing/absorbing the other Kaioshin. After absorbing the South Supreme Kai, he gets insanely more powerful. This makes sense because South Supreme Kai was the only Kai able to somewhat contend with Kid Buu. Plus, Shin states that South Supreme Kai was the "strongest and most sturdiest" of the Kai. So, Buff Buu >> Kid Buu. Somehow, people keep thinking Buff Buu is also Kid Buu. 🤦♂️

The minute I saw kid buu that low I liked the video, I’ve always been tired of all of these kid buu enthusiasts, common sense isn’t a thing I guess. But I’m glad you have it.
A lot of people get confused about Kid Buu and why he isnt the strongest. I hear that a lot and it makes sense but the thing is while all the other forms had SOME sense of morality (albeight very little for some forms) all the other forms besides Kid Buu could be persuaded or talked to. Example being when fat buu found the puppy he stopped being ba for the most part and Hercule was able to keep control over him until the puppy was killed, the Z fighters were able to make Super Buu wait and stare at an hourglass to give goten and trunks time (which shows some form of patience and intellect), all the next variations could talk and had quite a bit of intellect and then we get to Kid Buu who spokw in gibberish, danced around, fought anyone and anything that he crossed whether it was alive or already in the afterlife, could not be talked to, had 0 sense of morality, patience only knew violence. Kid Buu was unhinged and 100% destructive which is why he is confused as the strongest, hes not the strongest, just the most dangerous, alrhough everyone has thwir own opinions tho 🤷
The reason why Kid Buu is still considered the most dangerous is because he's pure evil. There's not a shred of good left in him compared to Super Buu or Buuhan/Buutenks

You forgot Majin Buu (fat buu before separating into two) who is stronger than evil buu but weaker than kid buu
You also forgot Ultra Buu, the result of the absortion of the strongest kaioshin of universe 7, who is stronger than super buu (piccolo absorbed) but weaker than super buu (gotenks absorbed)
Kid Buu is the most dangerous form. Buu changes in personality with every absorption. Kid Buu wields the power of both the south and grand supreme kais, without any inhibition in his mental state from absorption.

A few key things here:
1. One version of Buu wasn't shown here and it's the form he gets after absorbing only one of the Supreme Kais (Not the Grand Supreme Kai), which just makes him look buff.
2. The Fat Buu at the start (Majin Buu) is actually different from the Post-split Buu (Mr. Buu) as Pre-split Fat Buu is basically Mr. Buu + Evil Buu.
3. Pre-Split Fat Buu is stronger than Evil Buu, as he is the combination of Evil Buu + Post-Split Fat Buu (Mr. Buu).
Basically,
Fat Buu before split = Majin Buu (stronger than Evil Buu)
Fat Buu after split = Mr. Buu

He always has been. Gohan humiliated Super Buu, who in turn, was relative to SSJ3 Gotenks, who in turn, was superior to Dead SSJ3 Goku, who in turn, is superior to the Alive SSJ3 Goku that fought Kid Buu, due to stamina issues.

If you know anything about dragon ball z you’d know any fused form of buu is weaker than the original form. That includes super buu. Kid buu is his natural original form which is his pure power. Not watered down by fusion. Supreme Kai even explained this in dbz. Even during the fight with kid buu Goku stated that version of buu was much stronger and faster than before. I always wondered where piccolo buu stood in terms of power. The fact that goku powered down to base form and said that buu lost over a third of his strength made me think he was actually weaker than fat buu.

What annoys me is that once Gohan got a sensu bean Goku asked him to leave the battle... He was their best shot and wouldn't have made the same mistake twice.

That makes sense then, since Goku was able to vaporize Kid Buu. Yeah, absorbing Ultimate Gohan after SSJ3 Gotekns is just an unreal, unfair power level. He's a fusion of like 6 different life-forms, one of which is half of himself, a SSJ2+ tier Namekean, a fusion of two half saiyan/half humans, and the half Saiyan/Human who has the most potential out any of them, before Broly.

A lot of people get confused about Kid Buu and why he isnt the strongest. I hear that a lot and it makes sense but the thing is while all the other forms had SOME sense of morality (albeight very little for some forms) all the other forms besides Kid Buu could be persuaded or talked to. Example being when fat buu found the puppy he stopped being ba for the most part and Hercule was able to keep control over him until the puppy was killed, the Z fighters were able to make Super Buu wait and stare at an hourglass to give goten and trunks time (which shows some form of patience and intellect), all the next variations could talk and had quite a bit of intellect and then we get to Kid Buu who spokw in gibberish, danced around, fought anyone and anything that he crossed whether it was alive or already in the afterlife, could not be talked to, had 0 sense of morality, patience only knew violence. Kid Buu was unhinged and 100% destructive which is why he is confused as the strongest, hes not the strongest, just the most dangerous, alrhough everyone has thwir own opinions tho 🤷
But after everything, it's the fat buu that we enjoy watching😅😅

Not Gotenks, the fusion time ran out before Gohan is absorbed, so Buuhan only has the power of Piccolo, Goten and Trunks and Gohan

Kid buu is the most powerful by scale due to his lack of restraint and limiters… super buu has these limiters which do not allow him to be nearly as powerful even if they both power up to their maximum capabilities (found in an old archive book)
