How do you clean the rubber block that cleans the CBNs?

I'm still happy with my WS3000 after 5 yrs. It doesn't do everything I'd like it to, but with different jigs I can get to do most. Much more versatile than just a grinding wheel. I can even sharpen my wood turning chisels.

I'm quite literally in the same situation with collecting old antique irons and needing a faster system. I appreciate this video a lot

Good video. I like to support channels with good info and instruction and not much extra fluff. This was a helpful video for me (particularly since I just got the worksharp for Christmas present and ordered some cub. Wheels). Thanks very much.

This is a perfect example of why having a hollow back on plane irons and chisels like on Japanese tools is a lot more economical and faster to flatten than the European counterparts where you have to take off metal from the whole surface as opposed to the edges only.

A buddy of mine recently "rediscovered" his WorkSharp. If I ever get to the point where I'm rehabbing a lot of chisels, or plane irons, I'll probably get one.

Thank you so much for the support of my channel. The Worksharp is not an end all be all, but I have found for chisels and plane irons it is one of the most cost effective sharpening systems out there. The CBN wheels make it much more enjoyable. Keep your sandpaper discs though as you will need them for the really antique stuff.

Nice informative video. I've been very happy with my WS3000 to flatten backs and set bevels; I don't think I've seen a faster way to quickly restore a bevel. Been waiting on backordered CBN wheels for a while, now, so this is handy to see what I have to look forward to.
