- This is the story of Usagiya, a confectioner of dorayaki, which is essentially two castella pancakes sandwiched around a sweet red bean paste filling. Dorayaki are one of the most popular sweets in Japan and, as Usagiya will tell you, you can't say you've really tried one until you've had one made hot off the grill.

That was igorant. The japanese are very clean when it comes to their food. I mean, have you seen the presentation of most japanese products? Impeccable! Did you see how bid this factory is and how much prestige it has? I am sure there are so many regulations that they just simply cannot let the business fail just cause of someone not cleaning their hands. They are a great business, so I can tell they are careful not to fuck it up.
Ahhhh, I want to visit Japan so bad.
I gonna make it tommorow, wish me luck :)
I'm sure they are delicious and definitely clean. I have nothing against the food or Japan. I was commenting on the fact that they were not wearing gloves.

There are special gloves that are made and use for food handling.

@yeyechicken if you google asian grocery stores in your area, you should be able to find a place that carries dorayaki. :)

Don't misjudge me because of my comment. I just noticed that they weren't wearing gloves even though every part of their body was covered. Please be more observant before you misjudge others.

Just because you see someone wearing gloves doesn't mean they didn't just scratch their ass with em.
What's so ignorant about that? I was just observing the fact that they covered everything except their hands. It doesn't matter how big or small the company is. If it's handling food products it still has to go through all regulations.
