I think some people leave different countries for the UK, America and Canada because there's more opportunities.
And when you look at the value of the money in other countries its greater.
Very true
The truth is marriage in Nigeria is largely patriarchal and full of subjugation. The fact that the woman/women do not /cannot fight back certain unhealthy practices or occurences in marriage in Nigeria, makes them passively unhappy/aggressive and a ticking time bomb.
Societal expectations, such as the woman cannot go back to her parent's, is a big factor to remain in an "unhappy" place.
Also, the fact that many grudges/pain are usually not satiated or washed/cleaned away in a sincere apology or talk is another thing in Nigerian marriages.
The man will not apologies, the lady is expected to swallow or she may be named "nagging". This case is vise versa. (Don't come for me yet) 😀
I can go on and on with valid reasons to why these Nigerian women "PAYBACK" OR BLOW OUT OF PROPORTION minor issues. I use this medium to put it out there, that these ...,... "it's a man's world", "Patriarchy", "Subjugation" and other unwholesome/unhealthy marital practices should be thrown away.
Emotional health is not considered in Nigeria, it is not understood, it is not a priority.
Many dont even know that it exists.
So if you want to relocate and you fall in this explanation(s) above, please, do sit down, purge yourselves, talk, satiate each other, come to a compromise or else, be ready for the dramatic CHANGE.

You just spoke the real truth
You hit the nail on the head, leg, hand, body, stomach and everywhere hit-able. I recently told a guy relocating to jand from naija to leave his ego at the MM airport
As women we MUST be very careful, that the system favours us is not a reason to misbehave. Before taking a silly step consider your children. For the woman sending money to her family without supporting her husband is just been selfish and unreasonable.
Thank you very much for this!
May b the man was showing her 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ in nija.thats why she is revenging but as a child of God u are expected to forgive and do the wright thing by supporting him.marriage is not easy in Nigeria from my own experience but that is not an excuse on the last day.
All l love about you 2is your humble beginnings thank God your kids are with you am happy for you
Couples needs to be honest with themselves before they relocate if their marriage/ relationship is strong enough to survive relocation. Very educative video
Thank you very much ☺️

Women!! There are so many single mothers in the UK, most of them left their husbands for flimsy reasons. They often realise their folly after they have roamed everywhere and discovered that it's not cool being alone or that indeed the grass is not greener anywhere else. You just have to nurture and wet your grass.
There are real men out there. Rather they get to realize that there is no perfect man out there.
@@plusone1522 Correct! Good observation. My post has been updated.
Thank you very much for watching
Well done to you both, but most people doing good in Nigeria, comfortably say they relocate because of their children future, not because of them looking for anything. But I see a sense in wat your saying honestly, to Me peace of mind is better than gold and silver, there is no essence of living without being proud or happy of wat ur doing .
Thank you very much for sharing this!

I met a lady in school on Thursday and she is a mother of 4. She told me her husband didn't buy into the relocation stuff and now she is handling everything herself while the husband is in Nigeria sending her money from time to time.

Wow!!!

We had a high incidence of divorce among our South African friends when they relocated to the UK. My brother in law abandoned his 50 year old wife and 3 kids for a white teenager who he eventually married and had 2 kids with. People said this was because he could not date out his race back home so went for this opportunity up here. My own husband was unhappy here because of the drastic change eg: huge house with yard for cramped flat, conservative neighbours, stiff culture etc. But he persevered and finally found his feet (24 years now).
Wow!!!
Thank you for this comment.

Some people call police to create a DV record to get paper
Very true.
Kindly tell us how you cope with your children not in UK with you. How does it affect the motherly bound? Education people who plan to relocate without kids on how to go about it and what to expect.
Thanks
We will work on that.
Thank you very much for watching
Yes o, I really want to know, I am about to leave 3 kids and go join my husband who has been there for close to six months and I can't stop feeling sad anytime I remember I will leave my kids behind. I am still trying to make him see if it is possible to bring them along when coming, but he is trying to explain that it's impossible
With these few points of yours,I don’t think my husband can relocate 😂😂
Funny husband : You turned Amala once . How sure are we you really turned the Amala 😂
My God will vindicate me 😭
What if you do not have career here like you speak and I have the funds to relocate to the UK please what your advice?
It’s a decision only you can make.

Mhen...This na video just weak me o. I currently earn around 500K monthly with prospect for more growth in the nearest future. Now I'm planning to move via the student's route in September. I'm beginning to wonder if it is really a strategic move
Bro think again. Using student route might not be that smooth. If you want my opinion let me know.
I came through the student route this January, I must tell you it has not been easy but thank for his mercy, there are times I cried before my hubby could even get a recycling job na wahala, accommodation issue is there
Just plan well before you japa, it's a good move but plan it well
@@awopejudeborah3221 Wow. Thanks for sharing your experience. It's obviously not as easy as a lot of us who intend embarking on this journey are assuming
