I absolutely LOVE this song, but I don't feel like she did it very well...
I felt like the key was a little too low for her. I think she could have chosen a higher key to show her higher range.
She needed a higher key….
Unfortunately, I think this song was too big for her. Wish she would have picked something different.
Perfect song for Karen! She sang this so beautifully and made it her own. I believed every word she sang and I felt so connected to it. This was my personal favorite from her so far. I also love her humble personality.

I love this song but to me I didn't felt the emotions that this song needs.
There is absolutely nothing that stands out about her as a performer. All the glitz of her clothing does nothing to hide her average voice.

She has a really good voice, but singing this song in a higher key would have let her voice shine more.
They will change the key of the song if they feel they need to...or if she's not comfortable....I'm assuming is the key she chose and rehearsed
I can see that, although I think she sounds great and is effective, powerful, with decent range demonstrated here in regular key.

This was not a good performance at all. She was off key many times and didn’t have good voice control as it was shaky… idk why people can’t just admit it

The first line… it’s supposed to draw you in. It was off key, even just listening to the RF version. It wasn’t smooth from the get go. I agree with you.

I’ve like Karen since her audition. She has been consistent and takes every lyric to heart. I really got invested with this vocal; her emotions didn’t take anything away from this great performance, and they helped tell the story. She looks great, and her county-style stage presence is perfect! She belongs right up there with the pros on a platform singing songs/song from one of her album hits.

She has a really good voice and has given some stellar vocal performances. There is a taste issue with her that I don't want to elaborate on. She's too good to flub it, but I don't think she was at her best for the finals. I hope Asher wins.

choosing these wordy songs, good breath support, kept on top of those lyrics. The chorus left a lot of room to emote, sustain some beautifully placed notes. She's a fierce performer, totally captured the moment and delivered a great performance.
Weird, I thought it was her worst performance… she was off key several times, her voice was shaky and her control lost. I think this will be her last night

@@robertantonnyc I think she did better in her second song but I think she thought she had this in the bag and got a little too confident and comfy but there was no way when you have a powerhouse like Asher
@@jennysci33 To me, she looked like she was working hard the whole time, never over-confident, always a great performer. Personally, I don't think anyone up there really thought they were better than Asher. That would be delusional, imo.

Obviously this is one of my favorite songs growing up and Rascal Flatts is my favorite country band, I thought it was better than the Jo Dee Messina song but I don’t know if she can win this show anymore!
