- welcome to a new vlog. the weather has been so nice last week. i love nijmegen even more during spring and summer. the city feels so alive and the city beach is one of our favourite spots to have sunset dinners, with some vegan sushi!! i felt so much gratitude this week for everything i have in my life and everything that has been going on. you guys are a huge part of that as well so thank you so much for being here!

I could cry (happy tears), i live in america and am moving to the Netherlands in a year or so but i stay for a couple months at a time in nijmegen met mijn vriend, hij heeft een kamer in nijmegen, And your videos give me comfort when i cant be in the city and when i have to return to america

Hi. Thank you for your excellent video. Excuse me, with a salary of 4,200 euros (before tax), can we have a normal life for two people in Nijmegen? By renting a one-bedroom house. Is remain any money for saving?
I think rent is between 1100 and 1400 a month for a one bedroom appartement in Nijmegen, so yes for sure!

May I ask how much does it cost to live in such a place? I am travelling to Groningen to start my masters and I am searching for a place like yours
it really differs per city in the netherlands. a studio appartement can vary between 400 and 750 a month i would say! sometimes you can apply for a housing benefit tho (like in my situation) hope this helps, good look with your search!!

lol i’m vegan for 3,5 years. so it’s vegan sushi of course!!
Not to hate but you're vegan yet you buy flowers...that's terrible for the environment. Besides, they come wrapped in plastic which is not recyclable.
i am vegan for more reasons than just the environment actually. my biggest reason is animal welfare. i try to do a lot for the environment and avoid plastic, but i try to enjoy life too and i’m definitely not perfect. it’s about all the little things we try to do every day and no one is perfect. as long as we think about the impact we have and try to do what we can, it’s okay to buy flowers sometimes or buy things in plastic i think if the majority of what you do is helping to make the world a better place ✨
