  • Part 4 out of 4 of the MNR / CTDOT Compilation. Part 4 consists of all the Shoreliner IVs from both Metro North Railroad and the CTDOT, this also includes the late Cab Car 6222 which was part of the Spuyten Duyvil Incident.
Note: Traditionally, I go by the chronological number order but because 6222 has only a few clips & I rather not end the comp on a retired cab car, 6222 will come before 6221.
    0:00 - 6:29 Cab Car 6311
    6:29 - 12:06 Cab Car 6312
    12:06 - 18:02 Cab Car 6313
    18:02 - 24:34 Cab Car 6314 (Favorite Shoreliner IV as of 2016)
    24:34 - 32:32 Cab Car 6315
    32:32 - 38:36 Cab Car 6316
    38:36 - 42:49 Cab Car 6317
    42:49 - 48:30 Cab Car 6318
    48:30 - 55:22 Cab Car 6319
    55:22 - 1:02:14 Cab Car 6320
    1:02:14 - 1:04:17 Cab Car 6222 (Retired)
    1:04:17 - 1:10:44 Cab Car 6221
1:10:44 - 1:11:00 The End (Thanks for Watching)
I want to also apologize for the long wait of this compilation. As an apology, I salvaged certain clips to make this more of a Leslie R2SM comp. Just about every clip of this composes of Horns & Bells all together either for stations, crossings, track work, etc.
I want to also give a special thanks to the Metro North Railroad crew who made this compilation possible. Enjoy.

41:09 I absolutely love this shot because it gives off this really mystical vibe with how the train you see in front of you is 6317 and its Shoreliner set, but yet in that reflection, you see an M3A which within the part of the clip played in this video, you don't see at all other than that. I could almost pretend that it was actually the ghosts of the long-extinct M1As. You can't see them on the rails in front of you with your own eyes, but through the reflections, you can sense their presence.

R.I.P CDOT Shoreliner 4 Cab Car 6222. CDOT Shoreliner 4 Cab Car 6221 is now a unique and the last survivor CDOT Shoreliner 4 Cab Car. Cab Car 6222 and many other cars were scrapped following the 2013 incident. Out of curiosity why is Cab Car 6314 your favorite Cab Car?

6222 was originally, my favorite but after the incident, I didn't have one. It wasn't until 2016 after railfanning a couple of times, 6314 gave me some of the best horn shows over time. After a while, I settle with it as my favorite Shoreliner IV.

@@1365Amtrak Both CDOT Shoreliner 4 Cab Cars 6221 & 6222 were my favorite but now its just Cab Car 6221. But fun fact your favorite Cab Car 6314 & Cab Car 6312 are the only two Cab Cars with the high pitched Bells that sound exaclty the same If you listen to both of them on an audio recording you can't tell which is which.

@@1365Amtrak but what about the bl20s and p32s compilation

The P32 Compilation is still in the works, I'm just trying to get more clips of the regular & heritage units, especially in other locations other than just the Hudson Line. As for the BL20 comp, it wasn't a plan, mainly cause it's mostly on the Branch Lines, but I will consider if I travel on the branch lines enough.
