- No matter what age, which gender, what religion or color: a small town in the middle of Austria sends a short video-message of friendship, community, tolerance and pleasure to the world!
6.000 People - natives and foreigners, men and women, kids and old, manager, steelworker, firewomen, cleaners and many others - celebrated a party together and by the way set a new world record. In times like these like a piece of heaven on earth;-)

6.000 People danced over 10-hours and celebrated the biggest party in their life. The result was the longest lipdub-video in the world. The whole video was shot in one single take. 10 hours the whole city sang one and the same song: „Live is life“ from OPUS. The party-distance ran over 2.2 kilometers; shopping mall, city hall, helicopter, medieval burg, sports stadium and fireworks included. And the pastors are real! One hundred percent love of life with „Live is life“.
The video was filmed September 19th in 2014 in Kapfenberg, a small town at the edge of the Alps in Austria. Thanks to all participants. We love OPUS, we love Kapfenberg. You are world-class! Even advisable to everyone who´s not in a good mood. This video will cheer you up…

6.000 personas celebran durante 10 horas la fiesta más grande de su vida y la convierten en el más largo Lipdub del mundo. El vídeo récord mundial estaba tomado en una sola pasada sin cortar. Durante 10 horas toda la ciudad cantaba la misma canción: "Live is life" de OPUS. El desfile fue de 2,2 kilometros; centro comercial, ayuntamiento, helicóptero, burgo medieval, estadio deportivo y fuegos artificiales incluidos. Y los pastores son reales! Cien por ciento alegría con "Live is life".
El video fue filmado el 19 de septiembre de 2014 en Kapfenberg, una pequeña ciudad al lado de los Alpes en Austria. Gracias a todos los participantes. Nos encanta OPUS, amamos Kapfenberg. Usted son de clase mundial!

Das Weltrekord-Video wurde in einer einzigen Plansequenz - in einem Durchlauf, ohne Schnitt aufgenommen. 10 Stunden lang sang eine ganze Stadt nur ein einziges Lied: „Live is life“ von OPUS. Wow, this lipdub, just wow. All those peoples involved, the sheer joy and pleasure they all seems to have taken doing it. And even pastors, firefighters and a helicopter! Beautiful peoples, beautiful setting for a beautiful video. It was in fact to moving I was crying in front of my screen. Even if I don't know those peoples and never went there, i just cried like a baby. Austria is such a beautiful country. Thanks guys!

This was a great video. Also it shows in my opinion what I wrong with the USA. Had the video been shot in the US you would have seen police and the military.....and plenty of them! Yet this video manages to show the real world where the police and military are not at all that prominent. Maybe if we here in the USA were to join the rest of mankind and stop trying to control everyone then maybe the world would quit hating us and we would have no need for so many police and military. Albeit strange that is what I got from this video besides enjoying it. Thanks to whomever took time out of their day for posting it.

I must comment again, that I LOVE this video very much. It makes my heart sing every time that I watch it! What a wonderful production, Kapfenberg! So many personalities! I loved how you said thanks to "Grand Rapids" and I love how it just goes on and on -- with ever-more-impressive scenes. I love the hippie guy with ratty hair -- he keeps showing up - everywhere! I lub dis dub! The freaky near-dead blondie on the stretcher -- I also liked her!

"Live Is Life" war damals meine zweite LP. Meine erste war von Cindy Lauper... Dann wurde ich Opus Fan. Das Taschengeld war rar und LPs recht teuer. Aber ich sparte immer für die nächste... Da kommen echt Erinnerungen auf! Ich war damals wohl 12 oder 13... uns noch heute bin ich in Besitz aller meiner LPs und habe auch noch einen Plattenspieler.
Klar hört man heute ganz anders...aber dieses Knistern...
