Careful with prison staff... They are use to having their orders followed. I have seen them get quite aggressive as they get pretty butt hurt when their authority, or lack their of, is questioned.

Getting in a ruck is definitely not the answer (and you'd come off way worse, guaranteed and with a malicious assault charge thrown in too) and you handled the whole thing brilliantly. It is frightening how many officers lie as a matter of course, regarding their obligations under data protection laws in respect of body worn cameras. Disgraceful 🤬
The PSO actually states that a visual form of ID should be worn at all times so that they are identifiable to prisoners, visitors and colleagues. You don’t appear to be any of those so no reason to identify to you and never any requirement to identify verbally.
I am a visitor of the prison. And if someone is going to come and give orders without identifying, why should I believe they have any power to give orders? 🤔

Not so : Historically the vast majority of drugs get into prisons through visits, drugs thrown over the walls and by civilian staff - not prison officers.
@@Ultimagtr650 the main ways the drugs are smuggled into the jails are visits and throw overs or drones but usually those methods end up being reasonably small amounts of contraband, but when the prison officers are the ones doing it it’s a completely different story for two reasons, 1 the amounts are usually larger, and 2 the contraband gets smuggled in more frequently, and I know this from actually being in various prisons and I’ve actually witnessed the consequences of it myself.

Aaargh.... you havent a clue.... "An open gate is an implied right of access"...!!! Have you EVER done any research of your own? Or do you just repeat the borrowed mindless rantings of other auditors without question. Also, they don't have to "tell" you to leave. The law requires that you are obliged to leave once you are "aware" you are trespassing. And this was an intentional trespass from the start. You sound confident and convincing and give the impression that you DO know what you're talking about. As someone who has spent decades dealing with access rights, easements and trespass, I can assure you...- you don't. I've been telling auditors for ages that sect 40d may be ''inside" the boundary of a prison, not inside the secure area. You might like to interpret it how you like....but its at your own risk...don't be surprised if there's consequences.
Someone in the auditing community figured that open gates and lack of signage explicitly barring public access meant anyone could just wander in for any reason, regardless of whether they have lawful business there. Now they all parrot it. Same as with s33 Criminal Justice Act 1972, which they believe creates public spaces. They also don't understand that trespass being a "civil matter" doesn't mean security can't physically remove them. I'm surprised a lot more of them don't get charged with aggravated trespass.
Ronald K, i met some people in London, Shoreditch actually and I was asked to score some crack for them. They didn't tell me their names or where they worked but i found out by accident, they were officers and staff from D wing HMP Wayland. When they realised i knew who they were, they threatened me and then tried to set me up by putting a weapon in my bag without me knowing. I got away but i ended up at Wayland where they were able to work on me for 20 months, coming into my cell late at night. They informed there bosses and it was decided to cover it up, the CEO of all prisons in England and Wales, Dr Jo Farrar told me how it was covered up and told me it was pointless to make a complaint to police. Screws at Wayland, Pentonville and Brixton and Norwich knew all about this. I would like to talk to them about this, but they broke her law and lied so i doubt they will talk to me

They had an inspection last year and another this year. The prisoners told the inspectors exactly how corrupt and unprofessional it is and run. But nothing has been done.

I'm concerned that they don't know the basic laws, can you imagine if we have the human rights laws pulled away which I can see happening with how crazy this world is becoming, should that happen WE ARE SCREWED!! You're mistaken about that. If you have a look on google maps at the entrance to the prison then you will see that the road is, as he said, a private road with no public right of way.
8:15 "You're not allowed to record the jail". Bzzzzzt! Wrong. You're not allowed to record inside the jail under section 40D of the Prison Act 1952. If being on the prison property is "inside" the jail then how come there aren't any prisoners around. Therefore you are outside the jail.
Been there twice. First time ship out from HMP Chelmsford. N another time a ship out from HMP strangeways. I asked to go back there Not a bad jail. 🌍✌️❤️

You're mistaken about that. If you have a look on google maps at the entrance to the prison then you will see that the road is, as he said, a private road with no public right of way.

8:15 "You're not allowed to record the jail". Bzzzzzt! Wrong. You're not allowed to record inside the jail under section 40D of the Prison Act 1952. If being on the prison property is "inside" the jail then how come there aren't any prisoners around. Therefore you are outside the jail.

Are they training up the muppets for entry into the police force? If so they have achieved the required standard in scruffyness, arrogence and stupidity. Not quite there on the tryant scale, but I am sure they will get there soon enough

Do something better than have a couple of blokes walking about telling people it's private after they've got on.
I don’t get it, why did the police eject you from here for loitering on prison grounds, whilst other prisons police drove off and left you to your own devices ???
