    TIL AC isnt just a schtick for YT. If he wants to be taken more seriously he needs to learn to breakdown high level offenses too. NBA teams eat by finding the defensive holes and exploiting. If on a breakdown a player does what AC recommends and the help rotates properly, its not like the offense will try the same shot. They will swing the ball (spoiler: ball travels faster than players) and exploit the next defensive weakness. AC could breakdown a game from the 2004 Spurs to show their defensive breakdowns and call coach Pop an idiot.

    I think a good way to come to some agreement would be to examine plays where the offense was so good, that they scored in spite of excellent defense. Awful Coaching sometimes highlights these kinds of plays when he breaks down offense rather than defense. This would help establish the limits of defense, and what coaches are responsible for.

    20:23 - if Gradey steps in, to jam Bam,
    then Bam is essentially setting a screen on Gradey for a wide open Duncan Robinson 3.
    I think the best thing is to have Jakob just abandon Herro and get back to rim,
    have Ochai help double Herro.
    With Butler cutting to the rim, it's more of a crowded pass if Herro decides to make one.

    • @pensarebasketball
      @pensarebasketball  20 дней назад

      No, you do need defensive personnel to make these types of decisions in real time. It's easy to say Gradey needs to push Jalen Green left or right, it's hard to actually do that in real time because Green has every counter in the world to sink a defender like Gradey 10/10 times in space.
