This game needs a remastered for the ps4 like 5 years ago.
I thought that's what resistance was going to be. I just couldn't get into it like I did outbreak.
I'd prefer an outbreak remake over re4 remake
Sadly enough, i think this idea died when ORC and the other online resident evil games came along, but i still have some hope for a spiritual successor to come along.
Why would they remake a game that had such poor sales they had to scratch the third installment? 🙄 People need to be realistic.

Because now it would have great sales? The game was ahead of its time, now online play is everywhere. And some countries are still holding their people quarantined (lmao), so some new coop game could be nice

I don’t remember the explanation of this in the RE world. But doesn’t “freezing” for mad science experiments just mean that the temperatures are so low that particles don’t move AKA your monster won’t wake up and go ham?
Yeah it’s definitely hinted at that when the virus broke out in the lab sombody froze the entire facility to try and freeze all the monsters that were running around but as a result they locked themselves in the lab
that's Absolute Zero (on the Kelvin scale), which is theoretically when it's so cold that particles stop moving (like you said). It's impossible to reach it (though people can get really close). Below zero, usually means, below 0 Celsius (when water freezes), or below 0 Fahrenheit. I suppose any temperature far below those two still count as below zero and would freeze a BOW.

I’m no electrician, but when does electricity hold “pressure”? That line always bothered me. Regardless, BFP was my favorite Outbreak scenario. Good times online.
Electricity (electromotive force) does not "hold" pressure. Pressure is what happens when a force (heat, water, wind, steam, gravity, electricity, etc.) makes contact with a worthy medium/conductor - that which "holds" the pressure in order to convey said force. I hope this was useful....

Sometimes electromotive force is equated in terms of water pressure for laymans.
Voltage being pressure and amperage being volume. It doesn't make the line make sense but I can sort of see where it came from.
Electricity is a force. Force cannot exist without pressure. Pressure takes many forms (hydraulic pressure being that of water/fluid, pneumatic pressure being that of compressed air, temperature being that of heat, velocity being that of wind and so on). Loss of "electric pressure" alludes to a systemic failure having to do with a generator or transformer or motor or conduit or any number of things where the necessary pressure (voltage) is not being conveyed to either the control panel or the mechanism (whatever moves). The term is not convenient, it's accurate....

The outbreak series has the second game called “file 2”... I think it this whole thing is more of a recollection from the survivors point of view, so maybe they never went into those doors and since they never payed attention they might have recalled it as destroyed or frozen over when it wasn’t. I think it’s possible.
This needs a remake !!! Imagine an RE Outbreak Remake only that its a big sand box game only centered in Raccoon City ?

I always used Kevin on all missions since he was my favorite i was shocked when i saw Yoko became a zombie.
For me it was cindy and Jim and i was also shocked, it adds a bit more replay value to use characters for their own specific scenarios.

@@Garcia1995 online is different...some put the codes...some fight the hunters, some spot the explosives, some fights the zombies, some fight the Tyrant while some Run to the chopper , this scenario in particularly requires assistance from other players I have a video on my channel with this scenario online...if you are interested...

With the existence of the new remake for RE2, this scenario along with the entire game is considered outdated, at least in terms of canonicity. Too bad they will probably never remake Outbreak, although I'd consider that a sliver lining considering the fact that they'd strip it of many things, thus butchering an potential remake in the process.
The original REmasters of 0 & 1 are my personal favorites.. ,2,3, CV.. absolutely amazingly detailed games.
I was so hyped for the REmake of 2 & 3.. and was so disappointed when they dropped. 2 kept me interested as it wasnt so different, but 3... I was took back at how much they changed...
Maybe it's just me. Lol
But damn. It hurt my soul. And I payed full price, release day for both. Never again.
@@stevenwhillans8 Both 2 and 3 sucked (The Demakes). 2 at least had amazing graphics but nothing more, 3 had nothing it was a trash dlc for 2 at full price. Capcom done fuck up these remakes, both.

Boy Umbrella had really shitty security for their super secret science lab, not only did a cop, a university student, a small child, and a spy manage to get in but so did a group of random civilians who literally just wondered in by accident.
Scenarios dont explain stories about how they got in, Yoko was working with an umbrella before, so maybe she brought them in for escape.

It always stun me when I hear classic RE fans saying they don't like outbreak. To me it's the perfect RE online game ever.
Thank you so much for covering this game, in detail, I am still playing Outbreak. I go back and play it almost yearly, and really wish they'd remaster it. I'm a huge RE fan and you are my favorite creator related to it on RUclips.

I really wish they would make a new outbreak game with current gen graphics but with the same characters and same gameplay. If not remake it with same controls. Or remastered it. Because this time resident evil outbreak can get the recognition it deserves now the we finally had better internet connection.

The giant moth fought here is not the same one leon/clarie fought. The outbreak survivors kill this one. The moth nest egg is hatched meaning a new moth. Plus, the moth in 2 is alot small than the one in outbreak

In regards to the two dormitories, and the other rooms blocked off due to damage, considering the rushed production of the Outbreak games, it could be that those areas were meant to be in the games, but were cut out or just not made when the developers came to the conclusion that they just didn't have enough time. Thus the broken door excuse.
Resident Evil 2 was not only my first introduction to Re but also my introduction to video games as well. this franchise has essentially been my life. While my favorite RE Game is Nemesis (It's also my favorite game of all time) my Third place it Outbreak 1+2. I really wish capcom let us either have a remaster of these 2 games or give us the very last outbreak game. if you go to the Residence Of Evil interview With Alyson Court (Yes original Claire) she talks about all the things not included in outbreak that she was working on with the team. keep up these awesome videos would definitely like to see you cover every scenario.
It would be really cool if the cut content for this scenario was included in an hd remaster of the game which really needs to happen btw.
this scenario was a pain in the ass but man i loved how they remaked the Umbrella lab and also remaked the lab soundtrack from Classic RE2... Outbreak will always be the greatest RE2&RE3 remake ....
I particularly love the hospital level in Outbreak. Very faithful remake of RE3's hospital.

Outbreak was a really good RE game if you think about it. Took me a while to pass but still had the patience to do it! Brings back good memories on my PS2 💯

Dude I played Outbreak and Outbreak file 2 so mani times... and I was 100% sure that scenario was supposed to happen after RE2's story because of the broken and sealed doors that were to also supposed to be accessible. Now I can see Outbreak with a new vision.

What you mentioned about the Playstation version and N64 version of RE2 makes me think that there's two different versions or universes of Resident Evil.
Interestingly, the N64 version added unique files to read, one of which is Rebecca's report on the status of Billy Coenn from RE0. She writes a fake report that states he's dead, keeping her promise so that he's not chased further by the authorities.
There's a youtube video where Rebecca's voice actress reads this specific file.

one of the weird things is that we never learn what happened in yoko's past 'the incident' thing gets teased by Greg in file 2 also
We do get some information in File 2 on the End of the Road scenario. Obtaining a second MO Disk will allow you to read a file that says that Yoko was one of the people that donated her blood for the G-virus. Probably afterwards, they wiped out her memory.
I'm glad you started doing these kinds of videos, there's not a whole lot of Re outbreak stuff on RUclips besides silent let's plays.

I think they removed birkins since there about 4 character that fill up the rooms.having birkins in there will make it difficult and you'll spend more time reviving and helping the AI then evading

My favorite level in the outbreak series. I don't know why I love it. Maybe it's the atmosphere, or the environment, or perhaps its the mood the music sets. But I always look forward to hiding out below freezing point, while the zombies are scouring the surface above.
WE NEED A REMASTER NOW OR ILL...I'll man idek. I loved this game growing up and still own both file 1 and 2. Sadly my ps2 broke down a few years ago and I've missed it ever since.
I forgot to add that I'd be afraid of all the unlockables. Knowing the gaming world now a days, all those unlockables could be behind a pay wall which would ruin the games replayability in my eyes
Let the fans make a remaster mod. Companies can not be trusted anymore with such fond memories.

@@subhansanaky no they didn't what you're thinking was the alternate ending of decision decision ( Raccoon City University) which I can't remember how that you get the alternate ending but the thing is that you can't take daylight and your partner must survive like Kevin and Jim; Cindy & George , Mark & David and Yoko & Alyssa but in Canon they all survived in case you're wondering that why some escape the city in the helicopter in decisions decisions and the others escaped in that military truck is bc the group split up

Alyssa continued as a journalist. As far as who else survived, best I could say is to look at who was injured or zombified whenever you didn't play as them, as well as who your partners are if you play single player with Alyssa.
Yoko dies and turns into a zombie. George is injured.

First encounter with a hunter was the funniest experience I had in any resident evil game.
I had finally gotten old enough to where I was allowed to play it. I had the guide. I saw the picture of a hunter and based off of its description alone, I thought it was the coolest enemy in game.
I finally get to BFP and thaw out the lab. I come out of the room and go into my menu, looking at my weapons. My partner characters run off ahead of me. Something approaches me- I see it through the menu- but it doesn't look like the outfit either of my partners were wearing. It's green and plump. (Comes out of item menu) I stop to think "Did I have Mark on my team? No even if I did, I don't have his alternate costume unlocked". (I was playing single player as Kevin. Then my partner character (I think it was George) runs back on screen and runs past us.
(After literally, at LEAST, 10 seconds thinking while this fxcker stares into my eyes and does nothing)
Me: Big... Green... He ain't carrying a weapo- Oh, that's a hunter. (Raises gun to shoot at point blank range)
Hunter:(swipes me and makes me stop aiming)
Me: Okay, I'll just aim again and shoot him in the face.
Hunter: (claw swipes me again)
Me: Oh yeah, they're supposed to be faster than me. (Uses Kevin's ALL POWERFUL kick- the kick that I've seen bust down doors, panels, and knock over even the deadest of zombies)
Hunter:(Barely flinches and in my mind, he said) "I'm eating those!"
Me: Ok, let me get some space. (Attempts to take a few steps back)
Hunter: (quickly starts chasing me before my partners show up and shoot it. Buying me just enough time to send some of my own bullets at it.)
Me: Ok... So I will NOT let them get close again.

Really loving the way you walk through these. I’m beyond disappointed with the Resident Evil 2 and 3 REmakes and how much potential they had versus the mediocre effort fans received. The Outbreak games were so ahead of their time, so it’s great to see them receive recognition. I’m curious ScorePN if you’ve played the Resident Evil 2 board game and upcoming Resident Evil 3. They’re pretty challenging and a fun experience for fans.

The gray chemical bottles are really useful against the final boss, but depending on how the match is going I guess sometimes it's best to keep the FAS indeed. The bottles do make the boss die faster though (and it can kill the smaller creatures in the area too)
Outbreaks 1 and 2 are some of my favorite resident evil game so far: A lot of replayability, we got to see part of Raccoon city we didn't see before or a different situation on familiar places.
I would have wished a remaster of both game but after the disaster that is Resident evil 3 Demake, not anymore.

Fun fact Alyson Court the actress who played Claire was part of the outbreak team helping with writing scenarios if I’m not mistaken

I actually managed to follow that moth after shooting it enough and I can confirm it falls with its legs up. into abyss afterward. It's possible leon and claire just ended up killing a different one instead.
Also, I never understood how the G larva incubated inside Monica though? At first I thought william had planted one in her like he did to Ben and chief irons but apparently something ELSE attacked her. What attacked her? She didn't have any visible injuries, which lined up with the william theory but... eh. I still like to assume william did it.

As for the looking up, William was quite tall in his mutated form if you remember.
I'm aware of the moths cocooning the characters which is another reason I feel it wasn't a moth that attacked her. I tried to research this in several places and it seems that some sources say it was one of the thawing hunters that knocked her unconscious while most sources say it was William which would explain why it sounded more like a heavy step.
Though a lot of it is also conflicting info because it's said that she was infected by the larvae she stole yet William would have tried to implant her with one of her found her. I don't know, there's a lot of different things said out there.
Would not be surprised if Yoko turned out to be one of the Wesker children

Legit, if anything other than RE3 or RE4 remake, Outbreak remake is probably the one I'm waiting for cos my god this is the time where there's shitton of online co-op games already and if they can handle the remake right it'll reach a popularity they hoped long ago

There was once when I was playing Outbreak as a kid, and my friend and his parents came over so my parents and them could play cards and just generally hang out, while me and my friend would be playing a game on my PS2 (usually Timesplitters Future Perfect or Marvel: Rise of the Imperfects). For a time, I thought that if I played Outbreak, they'd come over again. I was an...interesting child.
