Everything is coming together and looks Fantastic, Great Job Danny and Wanda, Like the Frogs at the end with your pier lights, nice ending! Everything you wanted song went awesome with your video!
Really great job building the pier, Danny & Wanda! I hope you enjoy the pier for years to come! God gave you the wisdom & strength to get the job done! God bless you both!
Just LOVE this video! Love the end with the cool lights and frogs singing away. SO CUTE!!! What a GORGEOUS pier and the swing is just the icing on the cake. SO lovely!!!
You two are invaluable to the world that’s at our door step. And I’d like to thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with those of us who are paying attention You May very well be saving lives!
Nice job !!! Good thinking about installing those hanger brackets while the area was accessible and I like the idea of the solar lights for the fish. May you and Miss Wanda always enjoy your pond and beautiful deck.
it's Clay soil. you could probably make some nice pots out of it :) definitely some bricks. Clay is what they used to make adobe houses out of. There are lots of different colors. very nice pond in the making too. thanks for sharing.
👏👏👏💪😇 looking forward to the day I meet someone to work alongside with and enjoy the work in progress all the way around into a wonderful life (with trials and errors of course) Looks so great!!!! 😍🙏💪👏👏👏🇺🇸
@@silvergrizzly316 ABSOLUTELY!!! It about 6 years old now...One man tool...Did 300' of chainlink fence,Buried my Rottweiler 5x5x5 hole in Red clay, plant trees, any time i need a hole i plunge that in first!!! May buy another one and put it in closet as a backup...its worth full price..Great deal when super sale!!!
@@jajjohnson WOW! 6yrs old, now that's a testimony! Thanks for replying, I've been watching for them to go on sale b4 making a purchase but I may just hafta use a 20% off coupon, if i get to anxious, lol 😆. You mentioned red clay, you must be in the north or south Carolina area, they're red clay states and I've had my share of digging postholes when we use to build decks, lol. I guess I'll be making a trip to HF, SOON!!! Thanks brother.
My mom and her second husband had a nice place up on Mount Hood in Oregon had a nice little pond on the property he used to stock it with the finest trout money could buy then one morning he woke up to find the pond drained and all the fish were flying away with all the native birds to find out the culvert went bad and caused the lake to drain if the water is just sitting in a big hole without water coming in and going out it's just going to turn stagnant so hopefully there's a natural way to feed your pond and a way for it to slightly drain so you two will be able to have some good fish in it best of luck
Please make audios we can .listen to of those spectacular night sounds. Those are my CALGON TAKE ME AWAY.. Happy to buy a CD of those Summer Nights at The Kingdom Pond.
Awesome Jobe guys! It's looking great, I love the swing, that's going to be so cool sitting there in the evening listing to the frogs and the crickets singing their songs. Wish I could be there with you, I'll be there in sprit. Much love from So.Cal.💟
You have thought of every detail with the pond and pier...down to lights that shine down for bugs...led lights will do just fine...before you get fish in...the frogs will be everywhere feasting on the bugs. Nice seeing the pond fill in so quickly...I see the ripples in the water...aerator sounds like a good idea...solar powered? You have a channel rich of information! I don’t miss one video...they just keeping better. 🔨🔨🔨 now gives time for a 🧺 later. Danny, hope you get night vision googles...you and Wanda will have so much to see being on that pier. You guys are inviting more wildlife unto your property! Awesome!
They have a light with a propeller on it that nocks the bugs in the water. I ran an electrical line down to my buddies pond so that he could run the light and have an aerator in his pond. Your lights look very nice and so does your dock
I don't know if you guys are going to have a walk out beach from the pond but when I made our beach I made a frame of 2x12x16 with blocks in the corners to hold cement blocks and then added the sand. It's been holding sand since 1995 . Looking great!
Yep, the dirt, it's got oil mixed into it and it will do that in the warm heat. Turn into muck. Maybe y'all should look into seeing if you got an oil reserve underneath your underwater spring. Over here in Texas we usually have one right next to the other underground. And it will make its way past the sand to the surface. Great work y'all. Lookin good. Take care. Don't work too hard now in this summer heat.
That mud you talking about looks like what we have on our whole homestead, About 5 inches topsoil then black sticky clay, they call it black jack or gumbo here in South Louisiana.Grows stuff well but hell to work.
Looks great but I was always told to let treated lumber breath for 6 months before you painted/stained or waterproofed it. I hope that paint/stain stays on for you and doesn't cause you additional work because you didn't wait!
Hope youall's back was ok after that work. No disrespect . I Don't know your age, but you ain't young pups. I'm just about older than dirt and through the whole video I was thinking how my back would have put me out of commission for several days doing that . Seeing your wife helped you brought back memories from back in the day when my wife helped me when we built our house. Love the dock lights. ❤️
Do LED lights really attract insects? I'm curious as I have 19 LED well landscape lights and several LED wall downward lights around the house/hardscape/plantings. I do not notice any insects around these LED lights as I used to with the old style incandescent lights. Want to add that I'm thoroughly impressed with your skills in the greenhouses and now this pier. The pier use will definitely relax your souls.
The pier and lights look great and the swing is a perfect addition. I can just imagine what it is going to look like by fall. Will the water clear up eventually or will it always be muddy looking? Also, what was the white powder you spread at the beginning of this video? Danny I'll bet this was a wonderful Birthday present for you. Y'all have a Blessed day.
Don’t know if it would work where you are but when we build duck blinds in the marsh we ‘wash’ the poles in. Just using the pressure washer wand placed next to the piling and watch it sink, let gravity do the work.
Now you two go dancing in the moonlight on your new pier deck, another dream becomes reality with hard working team of Danny and Wanda. God bless.
Mr. Danny ,you are too talented . You can build anything exactly the right way. You are gifted.
Damn, y'all are hard workers. It's Incredible watching you both. What a great example for America!
I love the fast mode of y’all getting her done . Awesome pier folks , lots of joy is coming out of all that hard work.
Love your videos Danny. You helped this old woman fence in 16 acres by myself. Thank you. Blessings to both of you!

Love you guys. You remind me of my parents.
I own $2million in equipment and machinery...The $149 posthole auger from Harbor Freight is the one the that most bring a smile...
JAJ Johnson, I have really been thinking about buying one of those posthole augers from HF, is it a decent machine for that price?

Thank you for documenting and posting.
You do good work my friend.
Great job looks great, don't forget to remove the pvc measuring stick so no jumps off the pier and hits it.

Good licks! 👍👍👍😎🇨🇱
The band boards could use some lag bolts being they are scabed on and not notched into the posts but other than that great job !!
11:20 through bolts went into post. Even better.
Great job quys
Nice job
Looking just like A Fishing Pier 🏖 just need some fish 🐠 🦈🐟🐠
That will be next.
I love this entire pond project. It is gorgeous.
At the end you were talking about evaporation and keeping the mud wet. How do you do that? Our pond is in the soaking in phase.
Need to make any bricks Mr. Danny? I believe this stuff would fire well. Make Ms. Wanda a nice outdoor bread oven for sure.
Looks great but I was always told to let treated lumber breath for 6 months before you painted/stained or waterproofed it. I hope that paint/stain stays on for you and doesn't cause you additional work because you didn't wait!
I done construction for 26 years. If you let it set for six months in our heat it will be split and already starting to break down.
We call that “gum ball” clay in costal GA!
We call that gray gumbo here in Louisiana
Now that you have the pier finished , I have a list here you can do.
Clay. Loads of frogs. Well done.

Yes it will clear up. I'm spreading lime to raise the PH. A pond is just like a garden.
