How wild is it that they announced the OFFICIAL BT4 like, one month after this mod came out? It's a great mod and I'm very grateful for it, but what crazy timing. 17 years after 3!
I used to play this game so much that i would have to have it on the hardest difficulty, do the 1v5 setting, and i would try to win without getting hit, because i put in so much time, anything else was too easy. Watching this years later, makes me wonder how it's even POSSIBLE i was ever close to that good.
No you didn't... The footage in this clip is from the Budokai Tenkaichi 4 mod, and the AI here is MUCH different than the AI in the base game for BT3. The AI in normal BT3 is not NEARLY as good as this AI.
Kid Buu with ultra instinct actually makes since he does have god ki after all jp about the ultra instinct part but damn near looked like it with them perfect frame dodges.
Dude I remember I used to play non-stop with my friends and family and we got too good. We came back to this game after playing raging blast 2 for a few years and we'd do the vanishing behind until we hit a wall I'm sure there's a limit but I swear I remember we did it for like at least half a minute laughing because it kept going until it made one of our characters actually have to hit you even if you didn't mess up. Or at least that was our experience. I remember the rush animations once you uppercut someone. My fav was bardock hitting them like a ping pong until you get high enough to slam them down. With the cool looking directional attacks you can input once getting them into a combo. I'd always go left right up left right with square and I think triangle. Been awhile. because it looked like I was beating them up harder lol. It fit bardock he's my favorite character. The stupid dodge every hit by holding square and triangle op technique just like the jump attack fused with the vanish. As soon as you vanish use a ki ability to get rid of their vanish as quick as possible. Activate vanish abilities recover when you can and keep focusing on getting rid of their escape abilities. Repeat. But of course jump attack is how you start every battle because it's op. But dang that annoyed us to the point where we'd limit ourselves. This game left a mark on me
There is. Normally you use ki for each vanish but he used red potara stuff to add more HP (regular HP bar is green, they both had the additional blue one) and ki regen, which you'll see getting consumed but still grow for 1 second. Usually if you vanish and deplete your ki, you will vanish but reappear without attacking.
Ah early game computers when they want to rip you a new one and they scare you enough to shit out of it. Game that got me the most with CPU rage was Soul Calibur 5. One of my favorite games of all times played it at a few local tournaments and enjoyed it a ton BUT Legendary Soul mode.... Back in the days when I played this with my friends I used to be very weak at the game, like everyone was just beating the shit out of me. I picked Tapion (which is my favourite) and trained solo in the hyperbolic time chamber against Gogeta Ssj4, Broly, Kid Buu, Super Vegito and ARALE. On the highest CPU settings. It was a long ride, but I kept trying and trying until I was able to kill them all solo, only going melee. Eventually, everyone just stopped playing against me. They just wanted it to stop. The pain was real.
@@maximus-go1um I never played with mods, I just gave them the items to stack max HP. Pretty tough, I gotta say. @@TheDragShot thank you my brother for the insight. But just confirming since a bunch of ppl liked my comment so I imagine this is a commonly asked question, that it is impossible to initiate that clash method outside of mods?
I've done something similar against my friend, but never a cpu. Never had mods when we had the game so we had to get all the strongest maxed out characters in a team to practice and play. Haven't played in years and our budokai tenkaichi 3 disc was crushed when moving so there's that. One fun thing we tried out, was adding Grandpa Gohan in the OP cpu team and it always did the weirdest things and caught us off guard. I think we lost a few matches against it a few times when it was on the cpu team. I miss that game so much, mimicking the movements and that with the wii was fun asf. SSj4 Gogeta, Vegito, Broly, Android 13 and Cell on the enemy team. Still have budokai 2 on the wii but its vastly different controls, and friend moved to Asia so no point playing it.
In DB-Z: Tengachi TagTeam for PSP, Kid Buu CPU on the hardest is a different kind of cutass you'll ever receive from a game. And everything you do he will counter you and in some instances, spam certain attacks or even force a vs that you'll sure loose almost instantly. Man's was a force to be rekon with. Can't blame him he's basically Black Air Force Energy.

"So hot shot, you want to fight Majinn Buu?"
"...No"
Okay but doing this with your friend was the shit back in the day lol, absolutely loved doing this and playing volleyball with ki blasts. Just doesn't hit the same with these new games
Games back then were made with love and fun in mind. Now it's all about DLC and competitive. Coming from ages ago, it's terrible how they did games nowadays.
"That Kid is doin strings!"
vegeta simulator difficulty
Those old punching sound effects are so good.
This is everytime you acturely want the game to chill and then it does this to you
If this CPU AI becomes sentient, humanity is fucked.
CPU? You people are dumb af lmao... its either "the AI" or "the computer"... not the CPU lmaooo a CPU is only 1 small part of a computer.
@@bofasofa9399 here's your medal, smart guy.
That was the longest counter streak I have ever seen
How wild is it that they announced the OFFICIAL BT4 like, one month after this mod came out? It's a great mod and I'm very grateful for it, but what crazy timing. 17 years after 3!
This reminds me of when I used to set up CPU Great Ape battles and just watch 😂
Welp this just made me realize one of the kicks kid buu does he does it upside down with his arms cross. Kid Buu stay stunting on y’all
Man these sound effects and music..... **LET THE NOSTALGIA FLOW THROUGH YOU** 😩
Its hard fighting kid buu on any level so on the hardest is damn near impossible especially back in the day

*"Working ma shit out! working ma shit out!"*
@@jantheking7028 ahhhh that would explain why i remember it looking different. I was thinking of Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
Tfs Piccolo would be proud over that dodging
I did this before it was too painful they have 0% chill.
The definition of "let him make it"
Kid Buu with ultra instinct actually makes since he does have god ki after all jp about the ultra instinct part but damn near looked like it with them perfect frame dodges.
The pause at the end is the funniest part to me 😂😂😂
Dude I remember I used to play non-stop with my friends and family and we got too good.
The amount of sweat on his controller right now could water an entire garden for a week
I have never seen computers just meticulously destroy a person more then that mode. And one of my favorite characters/movesets was locked behind it too. Getting near infinitely wall bounced from Nightmare gives me PTSD and dare I say nightmares to this day
Bruh, this happend to me too 💀
@@user-wy8oy8je3b honestly I learned certain combo strings from watching the computers kill me with them
OnG no cap
The sad part is Kilik was the only person I found impossible to beat on the hardest difficulty (not including inferno)
@@poetryismyting8854 he had that reach. And started on the raft stage making you bound to get juggled off if you were not careful. I have beaten it legit 4 or 5 times as my Main Yoshimitsu. The only other time I could beat it was Taki who had a cheese attack that was two guard breaks that would occasionally hit but gave them no time to counter if you were quick
Miss these moments.
0:25 You can do that outside of Dragon Adventure? Never seen it outside of that mode before.
Ikr I’m tryna figure out how to do it
Only in the last version of bt4
@@evilprohack3.063 you can do it in any version I found out how to do it just keep countering each other counters then the clash effect with happen if done correctly but it’s extremely hard asf to pull off
@@MaskGuy697 but the dragon adventure is an added of the bt4 you can see it on the patch notes
@@evilprohack3.063 where do u see dragon adventure unless u mean dragon history?
That's is absolutely amazing. I love vanish battles
BT4 Devs: Hm, vanilla is just too easy, even on hard. How are we gonna fix that?
Complete Sadist: I have a suggestion.
And that's the story of how just normal difficulty whooped my ass the first time I played this.
but it's a good thing though, getting your ass beat till it becomes smooth as glitter is best way to get rid of the noob syndrome
Hearing Kid Buu charge up gave me PTSD from story mode 😂😂
To whoever is reading this keep going, you're doing fine! No matter how slow your progress each new week is filled with tiny steps forward. Be proud of yourself you got this!
Tyyyy
Dude said, "Stop. Stop! STOP! PAUSE, GODDAMN!"
Back in the days when I played this with my friends I used to be very weak at the game, like everyone was just beating the shit out of me. So one day I got tired and decided to train myself in a proper way.
Lool you mad for choosing to fight Arale, she literally made me rethink life on a deeper level🤣
How tough are cpu hardest mods after you you reach your best level?
@@maximus-go1um I never played with mods, I just gave them the items to stack max HP. Pretty tough, I gotta say. The AI in Tenkaichi 3 is pretty stupid, it doesn’t plan attacks or combos much differently, the reflexes are the problem. Dude will just perma blink-dodge anything you throw at them and counter any melee attack. They are not creative, but they are INHUMAN
@@galladebutcooler8645 ty. Informative
You dont know pain till you beat tiens story mode 😂
T3's arcade mode where you infinitely go against enemies is a challenge that i havent finished doing yet lmao, getting a 100 kill series there is almost impossible in hardest difficulty
That pause at the end really screamed: "Wtf just happened..."
At around 0:29 seconds how did u guys do that clash? I know there’s beam struggle and the rush clash. Never have I ever seen that kind of clash outside of the story mode
The BT4 fan project introduced hit clashes after enough z-dodges in a row. The person who posted that video is probably playing that game.
@@TheDragShot thank you my brother for the insight. But just confirming since a bunch of ppl liked my comment so I imagine this is a commonly asked question, that it is impossible to initiate that clash method outside of mods?
@@WildFang39 afaik this is not possible in vanilla BT3, except at specific events in story mode.
@@TheDragShot thank you kindly
bro had to pause to catch his breath and he's only using his fingers
Lmaooo 💀💀💀
I've seen this Gintama episode
In DB-Z: Tengachi TagTeam for PSP, Kid Buu CPU on the hardest is a different kind of cutass you'll ever receive from a game. And everything you do he will counter you and in some instances, spam certain attacks or even force a vs that you'll sure loose almost instantly. Man's was a force to be rekon with. Can't blame him he's basically Black Air Force Energy.
the sound of buu charging up gives me ptsd
The one Kid Buu lost the clash, and was instantly put into a different clash where he won?
Kid Buu got dat "Return to main menu" Rizz 💀💀💀
They didn’t lie when it was hard
