This was from the Stop Making Sense concert video. The whole performance will be right in your wheelhouse. It starts with just David Byrne doing Psycho Killer, just him with an acoustic guitar and a boombox. Song by song other band members joins and another piece of the musical set is added. Every song is a banger, starts at 10 and goes to 11.
Lmao.... just reminded me (now in my 50's remember, born 1968 - a very good year... No. 1 song? 'Sitting On the Dock of the Bay, Otis Redding' :D ) anyway, when I was a young teen who had been having vocal lessons, was a state champion on the cornet.... who had mates from school who could play keyboard, drums etc... we started our own 'Duran Duran' cover band..... my dog, it was freaking hilarious... pretty much we'd hang out in whichever parents garage who was willing to have us.... eat junk food... talk excitedly about how we were going to be the 'next big thing'..... try and get through a couple of songs.... stop... and eat more junk food..... Good times people.... good times lmfao.....
