It is wonderful combined with skullcap and passionflower for nervousness. Is an essential for irrational fears and OCD for our son. We saw a huge difference for him. It calmed the panic and frustration. We no longer use passionflower due to nerve pain. I have to say the tea is the worst thing we have EVER tasted. I mean ever, it was awful. Maybe I made it too strong, but I won’t make him drink it, we use tinctures.
I am so happy to read your reply.I as your son have something in common,And motherwort,Passion flower and skullcap are helping big time.A doctor told me whatever I do,do not take pharmaceuticals. No need with Mother Nature.
Have fun its a beautiful plant ...i have seen it grow everywhere in my small town Im in zone 3 something it grows wild here ....it prefers sheltered areas like beside a wall or fence
@Jeannie patterson they die off in my cold winters but some tiny ones will be green under the snow I don't water mine at all sometimes durring dry times they will wilt some but will bounce back so some water when its dry would be helpful They do like well draining soil i have lots of sand here they seem to like it even if theres no top soil but don't mind some either They are not too picky and very strong plants They will spread by seed and runners so put them somewhere you want them to stay lol If they spread they are easy to pull out or mow them over Better yet collect and use them :) Much love xoxox i really want to do a video on motherwort too when mine start to flower They kinda took over my one garden but thats ok with me i seem to need this medicine
@Jeannie patterson your welcome i think the good information is burried deep now under the exact thing a dozen times or more Ive grown mother wort many many years and seen it growing in all sorts of ways have fun ;) Its a great herb to have around
Am I able to use the leaves if it has not flowered yet ? I am in Michigan and found many plants in my yard but only some flowered and it is already the middle of October, in Michigan!
Thank you for an interesting look into another word… I am thinking of tincturing her by herself and making my own bitters with her and mugwort and feverfew
If the question is CAN this herb be taken daily the answer is yes. However, we don’t take this herb everyday. My preferred method of taking this EV is in an infusion (with others to make it palatable). Does that answer your question?
I would like to know how to grow motherwort from seeds, I bought seeds and nothing came up , I don't know exactly how long to keep them in the refrigerator so I don't make more mistakes Lol, thank you

Sounds like a great project!
dose motherwort herb heal a condation or it is used to relief pain only?
I put mother’s wort in my lemon aids and infused drinks. It’s great to add to dishes but not great as a stand alone herb..
Do you take tincture everyday? Of this specific herb??
