    Wrong sir Vrms=Vm÷2 because you forgetted that we are finding the rms value for time period T÷2 Understand sir So the right expression will be Vrms÷√2 .

    Sir why is average value = dc value ? I've read that rms value is equivalent to dc value.

    • @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS
      @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS  5 лет назад +3

      The RMS value represents the effective value of the given AC signal which will produce the same amount of heat (and hence power) across particular element if it is being replaced by the DC source of equivalent value.

  • @santanubiswas8200

    • @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS
      @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS  6 лет назад +2

      The time period is not T/2. It's T only. And it is the time period of the original signal. We have calculated the RMS or average value of the full wave rectifier wrt original signal time period. And that's why w= 2π/T only. I hope it will clear your doubt.

    Sir for RMS value of full wave rectifier why we cannot integrate for complete signal.
    Will integrate only half affect the RMS value please solve my doubt sir

    • @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS
      @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS  5 месяцев назад

      Since the signal is repeating itself after T/2 time period, so it was integrated for T/2 time-period. Where T is the time-period of the original sine wave.

    Why are you not including the constant of integration. What would be the constant of integration? I stink at calculus.

  • @frankreiserm.s.8039
    @frankreiserm.s.8039 3 года назад

    Remember your calculus. Don't write the limits at the upper part and lower part of a bracket. You need to write the limits of integration at the upper and lower part of a vertical line.

    Sir why rms for full wave you have not doubled it for half wave

    • @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS
      @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS  5 лет назад

      Because it is root means square value. So, direct multiplication is not applicable.
      Please check the expression of RMS value at 6:35, you will get it.
      I hope it will clear your doubt. If you still have any doubt then do let me know here.

    For average value of A.C. =[2V(m)] /π
    Coz we know that for ac we can't take for full cycle right. Likewise for half wave,
    Why we take avg 0 to 2π , it would 0. We should do this right,,
    It should be 0 to π..
    Pls clear this doubt soon.. im breaking my head for so long..

    • @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS
      @ALLABOUTELECTRONICS  5 лет назад +2

      @@ngkean9743 OK, I got it. Here, the time reference is considered with respect to the input signal. The sinewave has a time period of T.
      And the output waveform is drawn w.r.t that time reference.
      I hope it will clear your doubt.
