Silas/"Breakdown" was searching for more victims to feed off from and found a room containing Airachnid's stasis pod, broke it open, freeing Airachnid in the process. There was a tussle and Silas managed to bite Airachnid, but didn't drain her energon, because she got free and killed Silas. At least, that's how I see it.
Believe it or not, there are people out there who actually like spiders. And I have no doubt that they would change their minds in a heartbeat if they ever met this creepy crawly. Also, the first time I ever watched Crisscross, I never believed that Airachnid had any intention of letting Jack and his mom go.
The internet would prove you wrong very quickly if you went on a few certain sites. Jokes aside, I’m someone that doesn’t mind spiders as long as they are not the huge Australian ones. However if I met airchnid in real life, I would lose my shit upon seeing a giant killer spider robot lady that turns into a helicopter, so at that point there is no escape for me if she wants me dead, which she most likely would out of sadism. It’d almost be best to just lay down and die and hope she makes it quick.
She seems more sadistic than most of the Decepticons in this show, and I am judging by clips. I feel bad for any human that has the misfortune to come across her, especially Jack, since he’s a specific target for Arachnid since Jack hangs out with arcee, and we know how much Arachnid seems to love to hurt arcee, as you can sees with how arachnid tends to enjoy killing off people who are close to arcee.
Her first appearance has her trapping Arcee, and proceeds to chase Jack for 10 minutes, all while telling him things like “well done, play hard to get”, “you see that empty spot in the wall? That’s reserved for your head”. And even creepier is that the whole episode is framed from Jack’s perspective, how small he is compared to Airachnid, and how she’s toying him all the time. For a kid’s show it went pretty intense

From what I’ve heard, Blackaeachnia from beast wars is at least tamer nicer than Airchnid, but both are kinda bad, or in arachnid’s case she is one messed up bot, and blackaracnida isn’t too bad. Maybe Airachnid and BA would join up and work together but then BA would realize that Airachnid is a bit too messed up for her liking.

I doubt the trip there would be practical in her helicopter form. It took months to get to our moon in a specially created space shuttle and those move a lot faster than a helicopter, they need to. It would likely take years in a helicopter just to make the attempt.
