Seeing Sid acting up on the stage brought a tear to my eye. In the mid to late 80’s, I worked on construction projects in the Branson area. I was eating lunch in the restaurant just east of the Presley theatre, when a gentleman and a young man ask if they could sit with me. It was Sid with his teeth and Scott or Greg? We had a great conversation and a great meal. I was impressed by the young mans manors and the intelligence the Sid displayed. I had only seen him as Sid in the show, but I recognized who he was shortly after he sat down. I don’t remember what we talked about but I do remember his honest warm interest in me and my family. We’ve been going to the shows since 75, when we went to one on our honeymoon. Love the shows, love the family values of the Presley’s, and it’s been good seeing them keep everything together.
