My first contact with psytrance was with Morning, so I still have a special fondness for the style, although I work with other sub-strands. If you're looking for more modern Morning references, you'll definitely like the "Fusionist" project. It blends classic morning melodies with modern kick and bass structures.

Please. Anada Shake came out a long time after GMS, Astrix, Alien Project, Protoculture, Infected Mushroom, Eskimo, Skazi, Bamboo Forest, Atomic Pulse, Space Buddha, Perplex, Psysex, etc etc etc. They had very good tunes (not anymore, sadly), but far from being pioneers.
You are right and wrong, in fact a lot of the produccers you mentioned produced psytrance before Ananda Shake, but remember this Mix is about Melodic Full on (Old School Full on morning) that trend started around 2005 and ended in 2011, In fact Ananda Shake was one the the first produccers to start this trend.
