My mother in law has a noni plant in Colombia but I always thought it was just good for digestion, never thought you could even make a massage lotion out of it.
Hi, love! You can always find more info in the description box below each of my videos and find all 500+ of my video recipes to print/save at TheSquishyMonster.com =)
Since this will be applied to your person, it’s important to use quality ingredients. Traditional candlewax contains toxins. Beeswax is actually naturally purifying and Candelila would be a plant-based option.
I've never tried noni. I found it interesting that you say it smells like Bleu cheese. What does it taste like? I'm in Hawaii, so there's lots of noni around. In fact, I just saw some fruit on the ground at our local high school.
Hi, Emi! It's aka the cheese fruit. The taste is difficult to pin down but I'd say...cheese juice? haha. It takes some getting used to. If you're taking it straight up, I'd recommend slowly growing acclimated to it by blending it first with apple or grape juice {or something of the like}. I personally like it blended into nice cream shakes and passion fruit is also very nice since it's so tart and bold.
Thanks I'll have to try. I'm curious if it can be used to make something savory. I like to experiment. I'll have to taste it and see where my ideas take me. Thanks for your reply. Aloha.
I've whipped it up into a "blue cheese dressing" of sorts for my greens and it was pretty delish! The trick is to gather lots of different flavors and textures into your salad. Dried fruit provide a sweeter contrast to the bite of the noni as do carrots/apples/cucs. Try pairing with a bolder green like rocket/arugula or sprinkling in some herbs. Glazed nuts are also a good option. It's definitely fun to experiment to see what you personally enjoy.
If you bite a ripe noni( which stinks lol) you lips will tingle..if you have body aches..it will disaappear..it is a painkiller..dont eat too much..just one whole one every now and then..if you put it on a bruise..the next day the bruise is gone..noni is a healing plant..its full of magnesium
Nice video and thanks for sharing this! I was wondering, can this expire? Because i'm researching for a school project and i need to know how long can this last before it expires. I'm really hoping for your feedback, thanks!
You are so creative! This sounds wonderful and I wonder if it would work as a diaper rash for babies. I have never seen that fruit but I am eager to try this!

Hi, you put fresh fruit in the salve? It won't spoil?
I keep mine in the fridge but at room temperature, I find that rosemary essential oil has really helped stabilize it.
Thanks for responding. But I have neither. Is the candle wax the same as the regular candle wax. Or is there anything else that be used.
