Am I the only one who finds themselves sympathizing with Kuja? He was a puppet, meant to be used until he could be thrown away. He tried to be an individual. but in the end he lost everything and his ambitions were crushed when he learned that he was going to die. I probably would've gone insane too if I learned that I was doomed to die and be cast aside right after I had tried so hard to realize my dreams...

To me Kuja is definately the best Charakter. if the day comes i say something different i'd cry because HE IS THE BEST xD no really i love him (๑´`๑)♡ and you are right. i dont get why there are only a few who try To understand him...and it cant be hard to do that .-.
Agreed! I believe many "bad" deeds are done for similar reasons in the real world.
He destroyed a planet and probably the entire Universe even if I have a different idea about the final battle with Necron. I think Necron is the non-material part of the Lifa Tree. Kuja killed the party, but he didn't destroyed the cristal.
Absolutely, I completely agree with you. I honestly don't know how would I react if I found out to have the same purpose and destiny.... I feel sorry for Kuja as well.
However, I loved we have Vivi on the otherside. He had the exact same destiny as you mention: being a puppet, meant to be used until he could be thrown away. And as well, he found out he was going to suddenly "stop". But he didn't react like that, and even the dialogue at the very end of the game shows how Vivi accepted his end but he loved he had the chance to have friends, have family, have adventures. Although I admire that both characters didn't follow the rules, didn't accept their destinies and to be manipulated and used, I admire even more Vivi, because he had both choices, but chose to live and love.
Jonathan Brown I agree, and that beautiful moment near the end of the game with Zidane and Kuja just solidifies that he's a tragic character.

Tragic, terrifying, evil and beautiful... This... It's actually Kuja. ;p great work.
A brooding yet emotional tone to the notes honestly brings out the depth of Kuja as a highly underrated villain.
His longing to become death itself, but denied even that in the end so you can strongly feel his pain and progression into madness/rage in this version of his theme.
Most remixes will just mimic the original with no stand alone qualities that pays too much or too little homage to the original.
But THIS piece honestly brings a new depth to not just the vibe of the score's potential but of Kuja as a HIGHLY underrated and deep villain.
This sounds so haunting like it would fit right into a atmospheric spiritual horror movie. Kuja's theme is already amazing but you amped up the haunting malicious energy to a whole new level! This is breathtaking you're really superb at remixing.
The shear amount of darkness you have managed to incorporate into this tribute is nothing short of mind-boggling. Easily a 20 out of 10!

Enigma I’m actually playing the PS4 port of the PlayStation original FF7. FF9 was my first and one of my favorites. I enjoy both of them :)
