- Is it really mortal sin or is it more accurately the fear of mortal sin? It is important to know and to understand the difference. In this presentation the requirements for mortal sin are outlined. In addition, helpful context and direction is also provided that might be useful and effective in your management of the disorder.
Thank you for deciding to speak out about this, because internet about this topic is basically a fuel for scrupolosity.
Thank you Father. Struggled with scrupulosity since childhood and it's nice to know I'm seen ❤
this almost brought tears to my eyes.... It seemed you were personally talking to me Father. Thanks for the motivational words.
The world is lost without the good Fathers . Bless you Father and all men of God around the world
Fr. Santa, the sincerity in your voice -- to be of help to us --is overwhelmingly evident. Thank you for your beautiful, and sustained effort. You are helping. 🙏
What a truly exceptional video! It touches upon a subject that is not often spoken of in Catholicism, at least on internet platforms that are broadly accessed. As has been stated before, the emotional frenzy induced by scrupulosity likely contributed to Martin Luther's schism. It is my belief that scrupulosity CONTINUES to lead to the loss of Catholics from the Church. God bless you! You are the prototype of one who is "paternal". Father, I hope that you are involved in the education of men on their paths to becoming priests. Oh my, what a wonderful man you are!
God bless you father for this very comforting and pastoral talk.🌷
Thank you, Fr. Tom. You have helped me to better understand the nature of mortal sin, and to realize that being overly scrupulous is an unnecessary burden that one willingly chooses to carry on one's shoulders. God Bless You.
Father you really spoke to me. Thank you Father.
Thank you father
Thank you so much Father for these videos that you’re making. You have really helped me understand my scrupulosity. With a better understanding & through prayer my paranoia has decreased & I’m working on not being so hard on myself. God knows my intentions & he knows that just because a negative thought pops up, doesn’t meant that’s how I feel . Thank you again & I’m looking forward to future videos. God bless 🙏❤️.
The devil plays with our emotions, reject the devil by keeping your eyes on prayer and Jesus. .
Thank you so much for this video Father! I’ve had scrupulous tendencies even before I converted to Catholicism, so they’ve followed me around for a while.
Father so many are poorly catechized. I being one of them. I have embraced our Lord and pray daily. I even built a home alter to HIM. I know you understand this….i do. ❤️
This has been a huge help. Thank you!
Fr. Thank you so much……this is VERY needed for myself, and many others to hear.
Thank you Father 🙏
Thank you Father , God bless you🙏
clear and of much help bringing calm and consolation. thank you Father
Thank you Father Santa.

Thank you father for your sharing🙏🏻
Thank you so much Father.
this channel is interesting because i suffer greatly with ocd and reading catholic reddit just reads like my ocd thoughts...its like everyone is suffering with ocd, even 'thoughts' are sinful...
Thank you fr.
very reliving to hear i had my own trouble with some of this
Father, I feel as if you are saving my life - one video at a time and I thank you! Because of my OCD that I have had since childhood - I'm now 63, I have missed Mass many times for various reasons stemming from this illness. I know that missing Mass is a mortal sin and so I feel horrible and guilty all of the time. I pray the Rosary and I pray the Spiritual Communion prayer - but I am afraid I'm on the road to hell.
There’s nothing you could do that would end God’s grace. Go to confession ❤
Trust in Jesus!
I hear you
Confess your sins and return back to our Lord because He is waiting with Open Arms. Trust in God, for He is eternally Good and will never fail us. May God bless y’all prayers out for y’all. We humbly pray and wish all of this through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior’s Holy Name, Amen.
Go to confession trusting in God’s Divine Mercy❤❤❤
Your speaking to me.
Thank you
Thanks Father. This was very good.
Are you still suferring from OCD? What is your theme? Mine is horrible.
@@RosfieldCont I suffer from OCD and scrupulousity - would you like to talk brother?
@@RosfieldCont I also suffer from scrupulosity, don't know what to do
@@reynam5427 5 minutes ago, just had a thought that all my anxiety is big sometimes and I'm not gonna be able to endure this during years, had a bad feeling and alread thought this was a mortal sin.
@@reynam5427 I see a woman lookt at her face, my peripherical vision also see her 'chest' and i feel something, and I already think that I'm sinning. It's so hard living like this. But I'm getting better at disregarding, but is still very though.
Glad that I found this channel. Maybe God helped me to get here.
Hello, my name is Linda Miller I live in Jacksonvill Florida I have a question for you. Of course I am a Baptist thank you and the thing is that my daughter is living with a Catholic and she has been doing a lot of moral sin in her life and she do have children is it allow for her to be living with a Catholic? Please respond I appreciate that. Thank you.
Hi Linda. I'm Catholic too. Catholics can marry non-Catholics as long as they marry in a Catholic church.
Who can I see to definitely find out if I have OCD?
😢😢❤
I believe that I have OCD and have scrupulosity but should I get a diagnosis from a doctor to be sure? When I think about things I have done, I just do whatever it is without thinking whether it is (or may be) mortal. But years later I may decide that the action was in fact mortal.
You cannot decide years later that something may have been a mortal sin. You have to know what you are choosing at the time that you make the decision. It does not just “come to you” years later. That is your OCD
All it seems that you said was to ask someone else?
Do you struggle with scrupulosity? You may be able to schedule spiritual direction with someone from his organization.
Obsessive compulsive disorder a mortal sin? I never considered that
It is not. I hope you are not confused.
OCD is not a sin.
@@serenearana128 that is correct. It is a disorder, not a sin.
What's OCD ?
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
