I think you would love darkshines by muse, matt shows some great emotion in his vocal delivery. Darkshines live at hullabaloo is the performance I'd recommend
I think it’s the mix. I went to Nova Rock Festival and heard them live. KOBK was way heavier live, definitely heavier than Won’t Stand Down. But it seems for studio version it’s quite the opposite…
Since the 2000's you mean? Unless you were in Teignmouth in 98 or something lol Plug in Baby came out in 2001 and Showbiz was their first album in 1999 and only something who knows them personally would be able to claim to be a "huge fan" since "the 90's" 😅😅😅😅 And somehow I don't think their friends and family would be here on this video commenting.
I loved it. I felt that song and I was ok with the balance between the heavy-riff and the more melodic verse sections. I also loved the "Yah-yah-yah-yah" vocal that Matt was throwing down!! Awesome, epic, theatrical, metal-esque Muse!! Great solo too!
personally i love how they use the screams. Muse i like most when they use everything as an instrument. Showbizz, muscle museum, songs like those that where they use the vocals as instrumental parts. These lows as an instrument is exactly what i love from them
Something I love about muse is that every album has a theme and all of them sound like muse, like darkshines and micro cuts are two very different songs but they both fit the feel of origin of symmetry, this new album seems to be a bit different as it's supposed to be a best of all the genres they've done in the past, so far it does have a consistant vibe but I really want an album based around this kind of style, that would be amazing, except possibly with some even heavier stuff
I'm not sure why people keep saying this is the heaviest Muse has ever gone. This is the heaviest Muse has gone in the last 5-10 years, but Muse has been around for a long time....
I agree with you, I think the song could have been absolutely incredible if they would have mixed it differently. It’s a good song, but could’ve been amazing if mixed better
I really like this song but I feel like they're holding back still. I remember in late 90s early 2000s they felt like they did the music how they wanted no matter how odd the lyrics etc. I understand they're bigger and have a bigger audience who have mostly heard the black holes era and later which a lot of it is more pop style but I feel they could have gone harder and I hope they do.
You know people can have different opinions right? Even if you don’t like it, that doesn’t mean other people can’t enjoy it. You opinion is garbage though, get out of here
@@proevoisace7 Public already forgot about this song, lol. It is made of pieces of old songs, like it was done artificially by some kind neural network. There is nothing new, heavy, smart, beautiful. And it doesn't sound like Muse. They British band foremost, with unique style and sound, but for some reason they forget that and made this media core tune. You just entree level "fan" who knows 3-5 hits and thinks you understand something. You're not, there is nothing to debate to. 👎
I have NO idea how Matt’s vocal chords still have his full range after all these years!

Darkshines is great. Matt's scream-singing wrends my heart.
Oooo nice! Gonna check that out soon :D
@@KeCk60 if you were to review that, remember to check out the xx anniversary remixx version, it's crazy how much better that version is
Oh that sounds fucking amazing
@@Vision20005You can't beat young muse performing live. But the remix is insane I do have to admit

Been a huge fan of muse since the 90's. This is Muse at their absolute finest. The riffs are so good!!

@@SebHaarfagre I saw them live in 99 i think it was. At a small club in Norway. Way before they blew up. It was a Great show
@@SebHaarfagre Memory kinda clouded those days. I ran from show to show back then
@@SebHaarfagre And yes i became a huge fan in the 90's when I bought Showbiz in 1999
Dan Lancaster has been supporting them on stage as backing musician during summer festivals all across Europe…
Man I love your face reacting to Muse´s songs xD
Please react the full album. I need it.
Cool Rush Tee-shirt!! Rush ala A Farewell to Kings-era! Nice! Killer Muse song! Psyched for the new album!
I saw them last March and to close the show just before knight of cydonia was a killer duet

"it's not as punchy as I thought it would be"....just wait...oh there it is haha
I spoke too soon, yeah😂
A reaction to Cave live at London Astoria? 😍 I love that performance, and I love how Matt goes a little crazy at the end 😂❤
I like the comment sections on reaction videos as ones like yours give me some ideas to watch!

This song is EPIC!!!!!!! Thank you MUSE

Hell yeah! Muse outdid themselves with this one
definitely not their “heaviest” but maybe their heaviest commercial wise? idk
same feeling here!
Great commentary
Hi K, if you want dirty then react to Reapers live in Cologne, awesome
I agree with you, I think the song could have been absolutely incredible if they would have mixed it differently. It’s a good song, but could’ve been amazing if mixed better
I hope they beef up the outro live like the old days
I'd wait till their tours are up and running with their planned set
Hopefully you got my screams done. I wrote some lyrics inspired by beartooth today. This song so wierldy strange but bangs.
Ooh, maybe check out Apocalypse Please 😏
I feel like Matt is making fun of Trivium cuz this sounds like a Trivium song...just better. Especially those YA YA YA YA's
Thank you for the reaction!
Can you please tell me what is the intro music on this and other videos?
The song is "Thicc Thiccly" by Bilmuri :D I use the instrumental version tho!
@@KeCk60 Thank you!

Love this track but it really needed a heavier outro riff..
🤘
😍
Really like this song 🔥🔥🔥
Are you gonna do a reaction to Fever Dream by Palaye Royale?! 👀
Oh my gosh, Palaye is my fav band👀🖤
Yes, Fever Dream, please!
Got it scheduled to be uploaded tomorrow :D
@@KeCk60 yessssss can't wait!!!
Stick to Boy bands Reg
nah it's just bad mixing and average song, way too much overhyped.
Have to disagree, it's their best song since BHAR, it's what nearly every Muse song as waited about 15 years for, I love it, can't get enough of KOBK
