Thanks for that. Being aware of the cultural background of the person that I am talking to helps a lot to avoid misunderstanding, ambiguity and perhaps offence. Never jump into conclusions for the simplest reason that what is common and normal for people is relevant and might not be a shared priniciple all over the world. I always keep in mind that there are aspects of my culture that I do not like and other people will not like either. That helps with accepting different views and never be in that position where I am like my culture is the most perfect one.
