Another point. I live in a very economically diverse community and man poor people eat like absolute garbage, 100% highly processed foods. The root is they do not have the time often to cook because they have to work two jobs to survive. The result is diabetes and total physical deterioration. Also, a series on alcohol would be great. God bless, sir.
There is a company that has developed a device to measure the health of the glycocalyx. Furthermore they have developed a product which they claim (some evidence) will help rebuild. One of the ingredients is fucoidan which had heparin like properties. It would seem to make sense that if we provide the body with the relevant substrates it will improve function.
There's always a company that sells a substance that might help a little bit. The low fat, low sodium, whole food, 100% vegan diet helps a lot & it's free (we have to eat anyways), with no side effects. Most people prefer to keep a poor diet, and then compensate with the supplement which doesn't work as well.
@@PeterRogersMD prevention is always better than cure! I agree entirely diet/lifestyle should be priority number one. But if in the folly of youth you have made bad decisions and had bad advice perhaps an additive effect can be achieved. Fucoidan, condroitin, glucosamine, and hyaluronic acid seem would seem promising.
I appreciate this detailed information. Thank you, Dr. Rogers
Discovered so much about blood flow and its characteristics thanks to you. ❤❤❤
I am an engineer and love detailed information.
