Maybe one day, ONE DAY, fighting game developers will finally learn that shorter super attacks actually look much better. Why would you force your players to watch same, long cut-scene attacks in a fighting game, a genre that is all about gameplay... Even the most story driven games usually allow you to skip cutscenes, but fighting games? Nope.
I always found supers like Spencer's Bionic Arm in UMvC3 to be the best kind of super.
It's fast, massively impactful, feels good, and sounds good, all while being short and quick to return to battle.
Look up dbfz supers they are shorter and cooler
I was so surprised when people were hating on jin's rage art for not being good. I felt it was probably the neatest rage art. Short and effective.

My issue is that is has unnecessary slow downs, like is needing to see him grip his fist and show the wing.
They should at least give some choice to shorten rage arts since they are actually viable now

@@GBELCHIOR616 like umm in tekken 7 they do very little damage at the end of combos right? And it only works best as a high damaging powercrush at the end of rounds but in this game doing a rage art removes all the recoverable health so say I'm doing a high damaging combo but there's a lot of recoverable health for the opponent so they can do the heat engager and gain 80 percent of it back but if I do a rage art at the end of it all of the recoverable health is gone and it's actually viable as a combo ender
a way to make rage arts better is to raise their skill ceiling. put some just frame inputs into it and make them change the way the animation continues, similar to lucky chloes rage.
this way rage arts will never get boring
That would actually require some effort from the development team.

Kinda difficult for some characters to shorten their RA, since there are a lot of animation and view changes compared to T7.

I feel like ever since the Ultimate Ninja Storm games, people have paid more attention to long and cinematic supers, when it goes against actually playing the damn fighting game.
Too many cutscenes are why Soul Calibur 6 was hard to get into for many, it was too easy and often to trigger a damn cutscene that ruined the flow of battle.
More like since SF4 and MK9 if you ask me.

Most of the rage arts are just too unnessesarily long and too dramatic. As if it's trying to be some kind of Mortal Kombat fatality or X-ray/fatal blow but made PG-13 or T for Teen. It's just trying so hard for no reason. I prefer short, fast, and flashy super combos or super attacks like in those arcade capcom or snk games rather than slow and overdramatic T for Teen fatalities or fatal blows in Tekken.
I still believe they will add possibility to skip this while game... Seeing that 2-3 times per game is stupid af
I don’t mind it being long, I use it to get a breather and have a nice reset before the game picks up again
tekken deserverves better animation.i don't care if namco didn't accept me but that's not the way you treat your customers
