Bless your heart. I’m in north/west Ohio. Its 0 degree today heading to below and 12+ of snow Monday night and Tuesday so we’re “snowed in” with another dump of snow starting Thursday night. We’re just hoping we can get someone to come plow our driveway. So I’m a “captive audience.” 🥰
Your selling smarts are astounding. I just turned 71. I post on offer up and marketplace and a fleas market on Saturdays. You have so excited me to be more creative.
Man with the weather you r having your sweaters will feel so good. You won't even sweat when you wear them in that cold weather. Your "trash always turn to gold." The Julie Touch!
Perfect video ! Julie don’t change a thing! I love your REAL personality! Girl your prices!!! I mean I know some of the things were free or dirt cheap but your prices should be a bit higher, I’m in the Boston Mass area my goodness! The lil teacher book set, 45-50 would sell out here! I know that your prices are what makes you also successful cause your fair and have a heart but omg!!! Keep up everything you are and do! Love Kim
I think I watched all the videos where you made the things you sold, even the live cast showing the textured paint technique. But I missed your live sale dang it! I’m glad everything is now going to a new home to be loved by someone.
Girl!! Ok I was adding things up and ya. I am so inspired by you!! 💕. You gave prices for everything but the flower pitcher with clean lines and the drop cloth carrots. I won’t post the total, but let’s just say I’m totally motivated now. Been on the struggle bus and just need to put the bus in drive and get off my butt. Lol. Love you. Love your videos. You’re amazing. Hope you and your family survived through the cold weather and couple of storms that hit your area. 😘💕
WELL......that was fun! I’m in East Texas....stuck inside and blessed to have electricity!! What a great idea to have a tub filled with treasures for customers to rummage through. It’s AKWAYS the thrill of the hunt. Congrats on all your sales. 👍❤️
You have me all fired up to start my own business! Love you! You are such an inspiration, and your encouragement for others is amazing! Thank you. Bless you.
I hear you about unexpected weather. Last night it was 1 degree here in North central Texas. ONE DEGREE. And we have had snow on the ground for days...not normal, we are not ok lol. I'm so jealous of your local buyers! That Hall set for $20 omg. And your spindle boxes are still my favorite thing you make. It's all so cute, easy to see why you sold it all.
The book stack with the cement looking apple is genius!! Love Love Love all your awesome ideas! So much so, I may've went out and got some ticking stripe fabric, scored some dropcloths at Habor Freight for $7/ea w/ Presidents Day sale & did 10 bunnies! Making carrots next! I sell mainly painted furniture & decor from a couple booths here in GA and you have given me motivation to make things to mix in w/ my vintage painted furniture & decor. I hope to get comfortable using the nail gun & jigsaw more. Thank you for the inspiration!!! Stay warm & congrats on selling out in your FB live! Woot!
You have the best imagination. When you painted the pitcher with the red flower and bowl underneath all white, I was floored. Not to mention you're making a lot of money
Awesome sale. 👍🙂 Maybe when the pitchers are downsized, you could line them up and spray all of them and market as tier tray decor since they're so small. 😀
:@I love love the live sale you just did!, I love your stuff everything you make and so does everyone else! You are a brilliant crafter! The live sale shows items finished and beautiful ! Seeing items finished let's everyone see the scale and size and easier to imagine things in their own home. 🏡 Blessings on your move and enjoy your new home! Thank you for sharing your genius and your time!
Thanks for doing this video. I know you’re selling to your local community, but it’s nice to see what you price your items for. Congrats on a sell out!!!
I love the green pitcher with the wooden spoons, the floral framed canvas, and those burlap carrots! You are making me think about doing a live sale soon---I typically only sell from my booth unless I get a custom order but with Covid restrictions in my area a live sale might do really well. Thanks for the inspiration, I'm enjoying your channel so much!
Oh my ducks sold! 😂😂😂. I did end up buying a bunny and doing the concrete look for my bathroom! I also did a bird, painted it black and used white wax, it turned out awesome! Great stuff Julie, love your videos!!! ❤️❤️
Hi Julie, I just love watching your channel! I can relax and also get ideas for things that I want to make. The carrots are just so darn cute. Anyway, keep up the good work and ideas! You always seem to give me inspiration to get motivated to make things to sell or give away..........THANK YOU SO very MUCH!!!
Oh julie I am jealous not living in your area. You have made so many nice things. But I do learn from you. And make my own stuff. I have just ordered the stamps from IOD both of them ,and can't wait to get them. Got in winter too my attic to clean it up. And now I going there to take things out of the box I was going to throw them away. How crazy is that. That comes from you . I do like you , you are so adorable and fresh. Thanks.
I know this i is a an older video Julie, but I missed it the first time. I really appreciate the longer video and you sharing how you sell, how you present the piece, the price, and even the tip about putting the item number last. It’s hard for me to know what to price at! Thank you for all this!
Julie..thank you for sharing your selling tips..sooo happy you sold out.. your thrift flips and wood working projects are wonderful. I also love what you said about..things are only worth what folks are willing to pay for it..I have a hard time letting go of things after making them but you truly have inspired me!!! Thank you. I am so happy I subscribed to your video channel!!
Jambalaya Julie- another fun show- ordered my crock iod stamps- sold out everywhere. Selling the little pitchers for 3 with pick ups is genius for tiered trays. 😘 best wishes to kids and husband. Hope some nasty gators get frostbite 🥶. Watching you in Michigan with 18” of snow- were all ready for Spring.. Elizabeth
I buy scarves, from good will all the time for blankets...i always find then in all textures, and huge sizes....for $1. (I don't re-sell, just use them in decor on bench/porch, and always giving them away) Although, they might be hard to find in your area. (I live in Indiana)
I just happened to catch your live sale earlier today. What a treat! Your son was adorable helping you. I loved it when you said he was going to have to entertain us while you went to the bathroom and he was like, "uh, no". I love watching you! You are so funny.
Oh my word!!! You are such an inspiration to my dream of having a successful business!! Every time I watch a video, I get more excited to get this started!!! You are very fun to watch!!! Thank you for all the great tips and information that you share!!! I’m open to any advice!!!
I seriously find you really creative and inspiring!!!! That spindle basket you made looks awesome and good call on lowering the spindle from the top....great call!!!
I enjoyed watching the live sale, even though I could not buy anything since I’m not local. Still was fun to see everything and join in on the chat! Love it all!! Really enjoying the Facebook group, too! A lot of positive energy!
The concrete effect is fabulous!!!! Love the apple on top of the books. Is Lapine the Cajun way to represent rabbit? In French is “masculine”... Lapin 🐇 🤗
Mind blown!! These are some really cool farmhouse ideas. I cannot wait to try some of these in my area. I see a lot of this stuff at like Goodwill and think, um, no. Now I see potential. You rock!!
I just came across your videos recently & I am addicted! Love your ideas, the great way you show how you do things. Your channel is awesome you aren’t a phony like some of the other ones I see.
I don’t think there is a thing that you make that I don’t just love. You inspired me to start repurposing and selling on Facebook marketplace. Would love to know how much you sold the Kleenex boxes for. I am going back and watching all of your older videos and can’t wait for the new ones. Thank you for showing me how to repurpose items.
I LOVE thrift shopping! I just don’t know what to do with it once I get home! I know how you felt with that big crate of stuff! VERY overwhelmed! Thank you for the wonderful ideas! I may can sell stuff too! I know you said you lived in LA. But where are you really from? You talk exactly like me! I’m from NC and now live in SC! Lol
Hey Julie- this old video popped up in my feed but of course I had to watch it. I just want to share a funny story with you. In this video, you had showed the beautiful boards you had made with pecky cypress. A few weeks ago, another RUclipsr posted a thrift flip video where she flipped a grain scoop. It was literally FULL of termite holes & carpenter bee tunnels. I was like ohhh crap & I commented to tell her to get that out of her house asap. She commented back that it was pecky cypress & a very expensive piece. I was like GIRLLLL please if you don’t want to take my word for it, do your own research. I was like those are NOT holes from fungus, that’s termites & carpenter bees 🐝 !!! I tried to help LOL
Hey Julie! I absolutely love watching you! I have a question for you. Do you have any suggestions on how to sell your items when you’re fairly new in an area and you don’t really have much of a local following?
Every time I watch I learn something to start my own business. I can’t thank you enough Julie. How much did you sell the carrots for? Got my miter saw and table saw so I’m getting ready ☺️
Hey hey hey! I’m just freezing my butt off. However, it did warm up, it’s now 19 degrees, snowing more and it’s a winter wonder land here😎. When I seen the weather for your area...I was thinking oh my well Julie is freezing her butt off too🥴🥶. Hope y’all have a generator in case you lose your power like Texas??.
Hey Julie! I love, love, love your videos and style!! I’m in St Louis, MO and watch every video of yours that I can! I have an old wooden butter churn...any ideas of what I can do to it! I would really appreciate your feedback!

Being from Michigan and very familiar with snow, my folks loved watching the news anchors describe and demo how to deal with snow and ice!

I like how open ur about giving and not worrying about letting something go that might have a high monetary value
You are so fair with your prices. I shop at antique malls a lot and I’ve seen some crazy prices out there.
Great seeing all the items that you have worked on.

Hope you had an awesome day. Stay warm. I'm finding it a little difficult here in the panhandle as well.
Try taking that drop cloth wall hanging and make more of a squARE bAG. I bet that would be cute with a bushel of flowers.

Hey Julie! I absolutely love watching you! I have a question for you. Do you have any suggestions on how to sell your items when you’re fairly new in an area and you don’t really have much of a local following?
Start a business page and post something every day, be patient.

When I hear you say what you paid for things I'm astounded. Thrift stores in California charge so much more for these items 😬 Still not discouraged ❤️
Glad you did so well😊
Great job girl 🌹
