So she thinks killing herself will do the world a favor because she's slowly going mentally insane until one day she convinces herself that if she was gone then the world would be a much better place..

Another is she is suffering from depression and is having an inner conflict as part of her wishes to simply jump into a reactor to die but her past self is preventing that until she comes to her senses and comes to terms with herself. there are other ways as well these two being the most common.
there’s a bunch of interpretations. the oldest, most popular one is that rin is growing up and therefore killing her younger self/burying her childhood
writing songs is hard. I'm in a band myself (6 people) and we all together need about 2 months just to have the music, we are not very good at it tough.. Then there are the lyrics, I think they are even more tough.. Sure it would be nice but you need to put a lot of time into it and covers are fine too.

no lo creo tan así, sigo a vocaloid desde 2008 y en verdad es un gran paso en estos 8 años, este es una canción clásica de rin y lucifer logró manejar el vibrato y el tono bien porque la original llegaba a molestar un poco los agudos pero eso lo hacía genial, pienso que no se arruinó, todo lo contrario es genial escuchar a mi vocaloid favorita capaz de cantar así, saludos 👋
