Great little trip out that one . That v2 lure is my go to lure for fish weather from the shore in the surf or kayak . Have 3 colours of it and it's deadly for bass
Glad you enjoyed it matey.. was out there two times previously the swell was crazy and the water was like pea soup. was nice and calm for this trip… are you going to try some more kayaking mate?
Hi new subscriber absolutely loving your videos very impressed indeed. Fished off a kayak many years ago returned to it this year. I have bought a Jackson big fish kayak it came with an electric motor which the previous owner was using a heavy leisure battery. Having done some research I purchased a lithium battery less than half the weight. Not tested it yet. I was wondering what your setup is? Mike
@ Thanks for the reply what battery are you using and how long does it last? I noticed in your videos that you also paddle. Just to add not only are the videos great to watch but they are very informative love the way you describe different methods and where to spin. I’m finding it very helpful, oh and the scenery is second to none. I live on the Gower coast Swansea same type of scenery but the tides here are very fast.
The bixpy motor as far as I’m aware has to be used with the battery made by bixpy. They have just released some new models of both motor and battery for better performance but I’m happy with this one which is the J2. I’m glad you find the videos informative. Tight lines buddy.
I use a Molix zip bag in this video mate. I screwed a railblaza attachment to the underside and then a railblaza starport to the Kayak for it to slot in. I could perhaps do a quick video on it in the future. Thanks for watching!
For the fishing I do mate they are pretty good. I also use a slightly heavier setup I think is 20-60g savage gear rod it’s mostly used for the wrasse, jigs or big softies when the seas a bit wild
Great video. That Cove hopping looked fun. Well edited too 👏

Hi there Mike.
I’m really glad you’re enjoying the videos.
The motor system I use for my Kayak is called bixpy.

Hiya dude! What Penn rod are you using in this
Hi buddy it’s the Penn conflict inshore.
they are relatively cheap rods mate bud iv had no big issues with them at all for the price.
@@FISHISLANDTV Brilliant, I’m after a new one as my current Yak rod is due an upgrade!
