I was blown away how many great spots there were and how many good skaters there were and how long they could skate without any problems.
I want to see a skate world: Russia
north korea
france hold so much talent.
What's with all the "inaudible" captions, I'm not even French and I could understand just fine!
Il manque bordeaux , 33 représente
It is amazing to get to know what went down in history. Specially skating wise. thoroughly enjoyed this.
Awesome vid, loved it. Amazing spots.
lol the french are so mellow. awesome scene :)
Being from San Diego and a skater of over 20 years... it was awesome to hear how Washington Street park influenced the La Carvene, that's amazing, they did such a rad job too. Hope it's still going!
Im loving these, thanks Vice
Another great skateboarding documentary Vice! That Vision deck brought back a lot of memories from my youth.
Didn't think I'd watch the whole 30 minutes but I did ... I started skating in Parisian area back in 1992 till 2004. Reminded how the whole scene was back in the day ... Nostalgia ! ;-)
Thanks for putting these together Patrick
My new favorite vice series, then its fresh off the boat
Dude, you just reminded me of how much I loved skating. I quit when I was fifteen too, and boy do I want to get back into it. BRB Buying Board and shit again
Thanks for this. I really enjoyed it.
I love the houses they built! Incredible
Just watched that Lumiere film @ 19:05 for class. I can't believe it's a skatepark now!! that's super sick!
Probably the best Skate documentary that VICE has made.
The jumps are amazing!!

Awesome, I really enjoyed this one. Thank you Vice. Long live France.
i live in Paris, well in particular the Ile De France, thats the suburbs of Paris. There`s never a dull moment here, always many excellent places to see obviously!.
What an interesting video. RUclips needs more of this, like television quality entertainment. If there was more of this we wouldn't even need TV
Dope video 🔥🔥🔥
Inspired and enjoyable. X

Super . Genial la vidéo :)
It's up on vice.com. Most of these were filmed a while ago
MERCI VICE ^^
Really enjoyed this video. Reminded me of when I was a teenager always going out cruising with my friends looking for new spots and skating day and night. Good memories...
when I lived in Marseille I would go with my brother and watch the people skate at the Prado bowl, you see some pretty sick stuff there
Vice is THE RUclips channel
what about republique ?
Good stuff!!!!
there was nothing on tv so I started making a mini ramp. awesome
Hello everyone. Check out Stephane Larance’s part in Transworld’s Interface video from 1997. It’s so good. I tried to put a link here but can’t for some reason 🤷♂️ Anyway, it’s on RUclips.
i fucking love this series
It feels nostalgic...
Paris is amazing.
go learn it then! im sad i quit when i was 15, skating was probably the happiest part of my life
I get sad thinking about all the people who were cool skaters in the 90's. Everyone's just thinking about the past. Very depressing.
Lucky enough to have been to the marseille bowl, truly wonderful setting, some sick skating too... xD
you should've came to the bowl in metz it's great!
you should've came to the bowl in metz it's great!
you should've came to the bowl in Metz!
you should've came to the bowl in Metz!
you should've came to the bowl in Metz!
I am going to be very happy living here someday
Awesome
Passionate skateboarder
Very cool.
28:08 that's not how you pronounce that... :D
Fuck, I died of laugh
Lmao bitches
@@equinoxcae6799 so many bitches ☺
Vive la France 🇫🇷

29:25 The correct translate of what he wanted to say isn't "Rabble" but "Chavs"
You are so right bud
dude, gnarly !!!
holy cow that double looked immense. Another great example of how you actually have to skate to realize how hard it is to do. That set probably looks like nothing to non-skaters, but it's huge.
“It’s really big, even bigger when you skate it “ xD 12:05
The Stoke is strong in these cats. VICE rocks, as usual. :)
It was on back like in 2010. Around the time you could party up and watch movies with friends over xbox live.

Years after years. Lines transfer can do.
never heard that place be called the dome, for me it was just the palais de tokyo.
Our country once was a major colonial empire and we still got some relations ( good or bad ) with former french colonies. So when WW2 came we needed foreign soldiers from the colonies to come and help, and they also helped during the years after the war to rebuild the economics here in France.
Putain la claque de nostalgie ! Merci l'algorithme. Salut Joseph, Viroflay RD en force !
