Comments: 1) I was on Celebrity Solstice for 16 days in September and HAL Nieuw Amsterdam for 16 days. Laundry on Solstice was $59 per small bag. The same size bag on HAL was $35 on NA (and $30 on Eurodam). Per piece prices on Celebrity for washing was 2x the HAL price. 2) To add insult to injury, there was no clothesline in the shower on Celebrity to hang any drying clothes. Also, as you noted, teh storage space in the cabin was minimal. He ended up holding all of our dirty clothing until we got on the NA.
Loved your video on Ephesus. It's been on our bucket list for a while. I'm so glad we are Elite on Princess and 4 star on Holland so we get free laundry. Holland now puts Lindt Lindor Chocolate balls on the bed every night (one per person). Very nice!
I'm booked on the second sailing of the Star Princess... trying to decide whether to add the inaugural sailing in Europe or the Star's 3rd sailing, which is the transatlantic to FTL.
That is much easier said that done. The sink was very tiny and once you got something washed, it was difficult to find a place to hang it. What a PITA.

I wish all Cruise lines had self-service laundromats. Holland America used to have them but they got rid of them. I hope Princess
never does.

Ouch that is crazy about laundry costs.
Sounds like I'd be washing most things in the sink on Celebrity.😂

My brother if we are together I will have your laundry done for free anytime you want on Celebrity!!!
I just got off the Eclipse and I pre purchased a bag of laundry for 48.99 and with rolling things up tight I got a lot in that bag.
Imagine what the place was like 2500 years ago.
Laundry service is a cash cow for cruise ships and rip-off for cruisers.
