  • I am using my Kubota B20 front end loader to cut in some new storm ditches and install culverts alongside my driveway and access roads. I made a custom tooth bar similar to the Piranha Bar out of scrap steel. It has been working very well.

When I don’t know exactly where water is running, I put a layer of lime down (not much) it will show like nobodies business.

Interesting, I had not heard of that before. How does it help show where the water is running?

ModernSurvivalists lime runs easy, just follow the trail. Like a little washout, I got roads on grades, I’ll put lime down the high side. And I can see if the water is crossing the road and where without me having to be out in the rain. I use it as preventive before I start getting washouts.

Ah now I understand. It makes it easy to see the paths the water took after the rain has ended. Thanks for the tip!
