- So today my friend and I went to Silver Valley beyond excited since we have been wanting to come here forever.
He rode his yz125 and I rode my ktm250sx
I was expecting to at the very least send every single jump, knowing the ruts are deep. I figured like every other track I can ignore them and just send it.
Seeing all the big jumps done on video got me excited for years and I was finally able to make it.
But unfortunately there was a little too much rain and the track was much more gnarly than expected.
I was riding like a turtle, but I still got to check this place out so it was worth it.
Next time when the track conditions are prime I will send them all!! Спорт
cant wait till next we will send every jump
FACTS
Yep, I would've died on that track. Well done soldier, you made it out alive!
WITHOUT CRASHING SOMEHOW
Sick❤ love the new bike ouidi 😊
A great tip i was taught is to choose the rut you want to ride in and stick to it, that way you dont have to decide in the last moment. Helped me alot 👍
Good job making it through the trenches bro ...I have been to a few tracks myself with similar conditions... that track looks pretty treacherous..😁👍🔥
Appreciate it dude!
Funny enough, this is what you need to ride more.
This is what I raced for years haha
RIding this would get my ass in shape for sure haha
Bro I’m young but I know what your talking about
That looked like a blast 🙃
Yeahh it would've been much more fun if i could've send that jump like in the other videos i saw where the runup was smooth 😭😭. Oh well still got to ride
Love the new ktm 😂😂gigantic 150 foot jump
Commit to your rut before you get to it and then look way ahead and be smooth on the throttle. Apply the same strategy in rutted turns and drag the front brake slightly. That keeps the front wheel settled into the rut and your front tire won't try to claw it's way up the edge of the rut.
My first MX day was at a place called BRO in western mass. The ruts were just like that after the fast guys went through a few sessions. Could not maintain enough momentum to ride them lmao it's scary
Carolina red clay is no joke.
yooooo my home track
It's quite the track innit?!
@@mxoudi sure is but I will say it's crazy on race day
u should try fatcats in doncaster uk, the ruts there after rain are insane 😂
Hey, I told you it would be gnarly
i rode (tried) to ride that track one time. I think I did 2 laps and it took me 20 minutes. It was awful for me or anyone as a true c or d rider. Definitely great training for the fast guys though. It caters to the upcoming pro talent for sure.
It looks so easy on vidoe but i know for sure i will eat it
that’s knarly
I was told go fast through the ruts it will be easier entering it and exiting
Bruh. Id have a memorial at that place if I tried riding there. Lmao.
Lmfaooo ong bro.
I probably would've legit died if the track conditions were good & the 130ft triple was do-able.
here in the UK, every track is rutted like that, every single week. 🌧
That's nuts!
@@mxoudi Yeah man Im trying to get back into riding after a layoff and its so hard when the tracks are like slotcar tracks every time
Bro I just commented this haha
Will next video be you and Jett riding together ??
Look further ahead of where you want to go and you’ll flow through the rut no problem. Just keep a steady throttle and lean more than you turn
Bett
I mean.... those are REALLY nasty ruts on the insides. Remember, GoPro's tend to flatten everything out. Most weekend warriors wouldn't even TRY to ride that track. Kudos for getting the practice in! I ride 2 strokes, I always go for the lines with smaller ruts, and apply GENTLE pressure to the front brake to help keep that wheel planted, until you reach the apex of the corner, then blast out.
Don’t think in the corners just send it
Just a tip when in a rut dont look at it look forward and try to keep your feet up
Bro I feel bad for you just coming on the wrong day
Yeaaah, oh well. Next time it'll be mint and I'll send that triple!
How did your plug not foul
Hi Amanda, my bike is fuel injected, those old 2 stroke laws you're referring to don't apply to me anymore (:
PART 2 MOVIE BOY CHOP CHOP ITS BEEN 14 MINUTES!!!!!!!
IM WORKIN ON IT
if you keep riding tracks with conditions and big jumps like this your going to loretta’s in 2025 100%. keep up the good work bro!!
Love the vids🔥
Thank you! 😭 I hope so haha
you should rail the outside, avoid the deep ruts.
Let the bike ride the ruts and don’t fight the handlebars. Keep the momentum up and use the rut for an advantage.
Silver Valley is always like that, they always give it a pro level prep. Kinda dumb for a local track.
Dang track was deep! but this should teach u a lesson to stop only practicing whips :D
HAAAA trueee lmfao
BROO U should go to west craven and hold the 250 wide open to see its true beauty! would be dope@@mxoudi
try using your front break just stand up and you would be good
That triple looks easy asf
Oh it is, in the right conditions. I would've totally done it if it weren't muddy
ehhh. Its 3rd wide open on a 450 and you barely clear it. At the pro shootout in the fall only the pro class guys were hitting it.
@@jpatz319when I get a chance to go there I’ll record of me jumping it
idk why ur bogging in the corners, like shift down man like holy shit
They're scary 😭
i love how 100ft jumps don't scare u but a lil rut is terrifying😂 oudi on top hahah@@mxoudi
@@MotoDomasMX right? Lmfao
shift down when you're going in the corners.
I want you to know you would not have tripled it mate😭 a 250 2 stroke club Mx rider barely made it and he landed barely on top
That's unfortunate 😭😭😭
Incase you didn’t know you have to ride thru the rut as fast as the people that made them. Your wheel isn’t going thru the rut with even space on both sides.... your wheel is scraping the top of the rut. Even better than that ride the outside edges where there’s no ruts and smoother.
Interesting. Usually when learning things people tell you to do it slowly first (learn wheelies slowly, learn jumps slowly) but with ruts you have to power through it otherwise you're gonna scrape and fall. Am i understanding that correctly?
The irony is like most novices you assumed your buddy was insane for riding a 125 when in fact when you’re uncomfortable and out of place less is more ! 😂
Yeah i won’t ride at this place, Way to gnarly for me
Valid 😂😂.
In good conditions you'd be fine.
@@mxoudi that is good conditions for silver valley lol
@@shaynebrown131 I'VE SEEN MUCH BETTER
Len a lil bit more😊
I’m from the uk and the tracks are way more rutted than this and always soaking wet , this track is mint
thats not the way how to ride a 2 stroke
Yeah you risk fouling the plug. Fortunately for me I'm fuel injected so i don't have to worry about that (:
This track is way too hard
RIGHT?!
