    Very informative. I personally went with the sequence spoiler, drilled into the stock spoiler. Had it on over a year now with no issues.

    Hey guys and Chayness I bought my veloster with the variant wing on and I just went to a big tropical storm and I had to open the trunk and a huge amount of water came rushing through the trunk latch, and could this ve because of the wing or my sunroof drains are blocked? Please help?

    Great job Chayness. Been following you for a while. i am save to get this wing. IMO, i think its really good looking. where did you pick it up at? did yours come black or did you have to get it sprayed? Keep up the good work man!

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 лет назад

      Mine came black but clearly it's meant to be painted. It's not a good paint job.... more like a black gloss primer? Anyway, I actually had mine wrapped before installing. Same black as my amber deletes pretty much. Not exactly the same as the car's black paint job but you can't tell since it's not connected to the other pieces of the cars body. Oh, also I got mine from SoCal Garage Works

    Put the same one on mine- was really surprised on how bad the manufacturing are on those...love the look, but the imperfections are pretty bad. The third light has to be mounted upside down (can see you did that). I had to drill all the holes out for the wing bolts- none of mine lined up (third light mounted fine though). I did a wiper delete which looks so much better and cleaner, so I didn't mount the wiper nosel. I put weather stripping on mine around the edge and in the third light gap (looks much cleaner with it). FYI- the weather stripping does make it significantly harder to mount, but worth it. Keep up the good work!!

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 лет назад +1

      Yea I plan on going back to revise with weatherstripping. And you're right.... the production is quite bad. I lucked out with mine lining up (bolt wise I mean). My first one came in destroyed though. It was bad. And the Carbon Fiber one's although more expensive, aren't any better. The solution for the window washer nozzle is horrible. But the wing does look nice. lol

    Been going back and forth myself on getting this wing. I am afraid to make irreversible mods especially if the wing needs some work done to it. This spoiler has been in my cart for 2 months now, afraid to pull the trigger haha. I love all your videos though and am excited to see more coming up!

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks bro! Well if you were to get a spoiler, this is the one you could actually eventually "go back to stock" with. You remove the OE wing and bolt this one in place. The Sequence wing requires you to drill and bolt ONTO the top of your OE wing and the ARK/ GT style wings require the wing to also drill into the stock wing for support. This one is just removable so if you ever sell the Veloster, you can put the stock wing back on and sell this second hand. Win/win lol

    Hey buddy, I have a 2012 Hyundai Veloster and am changing the a pillar on the drivers side, I got it off ok, but I cannot get the new one to snap into the holes to mount it. I've tried and tried, will not snap in. WHAT GIVES? HELP!!

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  9 месяцев назад

      That's hard to provide help without looking at it. Usually, I just give the piece a "hard" hit to get them to snap in.

    Do yourself a solid and add some like small stackable felt peices on those sharp parts of the spoiler that hang around the top part of the side of your car. They can cause damage. Over all love that spoiler I went with the CF version and its sick. Great choice

    Hey just wanting to say firstly love your videos! I own a 2013 Hyundai veloster turbo, where did you get your rear spoiler? I tried to buy one off of ICard on line but they are the worst!!! I purchased the spoiler and received it defective and sent it back and still haven't received my replacement and it's been a month!! Please share where I can buy from a reputable vender 😢

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  4 года назад +1

      I originally bought from Socal Garageworks but they discontinued selling them. You can still buy it from the original maker but it's much more expensive: www.dgmotorsports.com/veloster.php

      Fitment wasn't such an issue. I'd say weather stripping from amazon or your local car parts store.

      Chayness hey man I’ve been watching your vids since the beginning. You provide great content. How long did it take for it to arrive from order to delivery? I have a NAV and I’m wondering it’ll fit my car. Thanks so much!

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 лет назад +1

      @@vito_413 This one is designed for the VT only but they do make one for the NAV (and I think that one is a bit cheaper too) cuz the NAV doesn't have the 3rd brake light. It took from ordering to receiving.... a little bit over a month. Like 4-6 weeks.

    • @vito_413

    • @Chayness
      @Chayness  5 лет назад

      Well SCGW doesn't produce this wing. They have to outsource it to a company that does. Seems either it may be the same company ebay vendors use, or their all using the same blueprint?
