- Hello everyone and welcome! In this short video I am chasing Spanish Mackerel and Amber-jack offshore Bribie Island. We didn't have any luck trolling for Spanish Mackerel but did pick up a nice Cobia on a hardbody lure. Lost heaps of hard fighting fish, I just couldn't pullup!

Bro where do u find deep enough water in the bay to jig like that. that is epic I only have a 4.8 with a 60 I struggle to find fish like this
Hi Ben, I jig or fast retrieve slugs in 10-15m of water all the time. Plenty of fish around that depth.... Having a 4.8m with a 60hp you can fish everywhere. I can do up to 100km round trip in my little 3.5m plastic boat.
