Nice to see you again Yash , i would say JBL leading the way in terms of new innovation on portable audio. Flip 5 have racetrack-shaped subwoofer and Flip 6 has a separate tweeter and dual passive radiators. which give tunes added depth and more power audio . Hi Trini , JBL has added a tweeter for the first time , the tweeter focuses the music and now brings it into sharper focus which removes the last vestiges of midrange muffle. Flip 6 offer louder audio than older flip models and supported by JBL EQ app. After testing the flip 6 , I can say Flip 6 worth every penny.

@@carlosmartin7270 Yes it can pair together playing a different speaker will activate Partymode. In order to have Stereo mode it has to be a 2 same speaker model.

Atleast the flip 5 had a hard carrying/storing case....why jbl removed it in flip 6 is confusing
