This episode was good, maybe even better than the first one of the season. Even if I always have the impression to repeat the same "okay, so now, war is declared", like I have the impression that we're on the starting blocks for so long now. Lucerys was killed, now Aegon's son, and to finish, that attack against Rhaenyra herself, so come on, let's be at war for good. Otto and Alicent still have hope for peace, really ? I can't see how.
Some moments made me mad during this episode, and each time for the same reason : guys sleeping with the girls in charge, the real queens with powers, but no, they decide to do something on their own, without talking to anyone or asking for approval, and not a little thing, no-no, a sneaky attack against the enemy, something which can make the entire kingdoms at war. Daemon made me mad : yes, it was a mistake, but you have to own the responsibility for it, and you didn't respond to Rhaenyra's question about you seeing her as the real queen, you clearly want power. Cole… stay at your place my dear, aka in Alicent's bed. Aegon choosing him as his Hand after Otto talked to him like that, not a surprise.

I enjoyed the episode, lots happening, some awesome acting, house Hightower is a mess, and as a bookreader I think there was a lot of foreshadowing and setup for things in the book to happen. I was sad that Erik and Aerik died, but I don't think either twin could live without the other, plus they wouldn't have wanted to be alive as a kinslayer. I kinda wished Aerik would have stopped himself and turned himself in when he saw his brother, but it was supposed to be part of the story line.
