Why this is the Ultimate Marshall Amp, and how to set it up!

- In this video play my favorite Marshall rig, the one that nails the most classic 60s, 70s and 80s tones - a 1977 Marshall JMP 50W Master Volume (2204) through a 1971 Marshall 1960A and a Marshall 1x12 model 1933 with a 1971 G12H30 55Hz. This is by far the rig that I use the most and the rig that comes closest to the Hendrix tone, the Zeppelin tone and the NWOBHM tone for instance. At 12:22 in the video I go through how I set up the rig, in terms of knob setting, mic positioning, panning and discuss my philosophy when it comes to this amp. Let me know what you think! Let's go! :-)
In the summer of 1980 I saved enough money to buy my first tube amp. In July, just after my 16th birthday , I got on the train to pick up a brand new JMP 2204, together with my older brother. It was a very hot day and we had to walk back a few kilometers from the guitarshop to the train station and then from the train station tomorrow home ( again a few kilometers) the amp was super heavy so our arms got longer and longer. I still have that amp today. It’s totally stock, original caps ( in good shape) , original tubes and it still sounds great. No clipped bright cap either. Never will sell that amp
nice and heartwarming story
how did you ship the cab?
@@qirico I didn't have the money to also buy the marshal cab so I built one with Fane speakers to get started. I didn't really like the sound of these so I traded it later with something else
@@Johnsormani hope you finally found decent match to your awesome amp
@@qiricoyes I did eventually . But there is no perfect speaker for a jmp. I like the v30 sometimes, or the g75t g65m g100 . I have all of these to choose from
@@Johnsormani guess g12m25 greenbacks or g12h30 heritage would do the work for me
I have been using this head since 1987. Best 300 bucks I ever spent on a piece of gear.
Agreed. The JMP 2204 is the pinnacle.
Thoughts on the jcm800 2203 from 1983 (Canadian version)
Totally with you on this- I'm convinced that many people who lust after Plexis are actually hearing JMP/JCM amps in their heads. Also love that your recordings actually sound like my amps do in the room rather than the processed "on the record" sound that many folks on YT demo.
Thanks, glad to hear it. I also think that the experience in the room is what is really interesting. Cheers
This channel is pure gold for finding Marshall tones.
Thanks for making the best and most useful gear demos on the interweb - just bought a 2204 from 1978 because of your videos, and it really is the greatest rock sound in the world, and I quickly realized it was the sound I had been searching for mye whole guitar playing life. Thanks for convincing me and keep up the good work!
Hilsener fra Norge!
That's frkn cool bud now I want one lol
That's the amp I've had since I was 16 in 1980. Every gig and every recording I've done since then has been with that one amp.
It’s all you really need, it’s a rock & early metal killin' machine. I have '77 & '80 JMP's and '71 1987 & '73 1959 JMP's (both handwired). The 2204 gets most of the love!
I have a '77 2204, and it has risen to the top spot of all my amps when playing in the band mix. I set it up bass 0, mid 9, treble 0, pres 3-4, pre-amp 6-7. It's an amazing amp! Sounds awesome with a humbucker Les Paul, P90 LP, and Telecaster.
Great sounding amp and awesome playing! There has been a 2204 on my local Craigslist for a few weeks. This video pushed me over the edge and I bought it! Thanks for the push, it’s absolutely killer.
Steve Grindrod designed the two-input Master Volume 2203/2204 in 1976. It should be noted that starting in '77 the first two gain stages were cascaded on the 2204.
I have to agree with you here. The 1977-78 Marshall 2204 JMP 50W are the best amps ever made. Always been my favourite . Love the 100W as well. Still use them on a daily basis, 🎸🔊😊
Thanks Gary! Cheers
'79 and '80 too.
I own a 1980 JMP 2204 and it is by far the best amp I ever played!
My settings are Presence 4/5, Bass 5, Middle 7, Treble 4, Master 4,5 and Pre-Amp sweet spot is 7. I agree with Johan that Presence and Treble are unusable pass 4/5 on the dial!
Thanks!
The Strat sounded wonderful through that Amp. Sometimes, the chords almost sounded like they were being played on an organ! Thanks for showing all the settings - really helpful. 🤘
Great. If one wants to know how these original amps sound, you channel is the one to visit. So great and so true to those original.
Thank you so much for your awesome review of this Marshall. My favorite too. I lucked into one of these back around 1985 or 86 and its been my main amp ever since. Mine is the 50 watt model with 6550s in a 2x12 cabinet. I love it! I set that on top a 4x12. This 6x12 setup is so good sounding. Probably due to the open back/closed back combination.
Thanks again. I love your playing. Your reviews and demos are by far the best.
I like to mix open and closed back cabs too. Best of both worlds.
I have a 77 2204 as well and the best thing I did to it was to lift one leg of the treble capacitor that's mounted directly to the Preamp Volume pot. Lifting one leg takes it out of the circuit, but if I ever want it back in, it's 2 seconds of soldering. Without this cap, treble and presence become much more usable and I think the amp sounds much better overall!
I agree, in my mind it makes the amp having a warm cutting sound, almost creamy and cutting.
You could use a lower value 390pf or 250pf instead, the purpose is to retain bite and treble bite no matter where you are on the volume knob
Does this also work for the 2203?
@@steveymoonpreamp circuits should be the same so I would say yes.
@@eyedunno8462honestly, between the treble and presence controls, there’s still tons of high frequency on tap!
I know we have discussed before our mutual love and ownership of the 1977 jmp2204 and the pairing with 12h30 55hz speakers. This was a very deep video. I hope you do more showing exact examples of tones, setups, mics, boost pedals, everything. I think too many people discount the importance and use of this amp throughout the late 70's into the 80's and beyond
Yeah I’m gonna include tweaking/setting up here and there in videos to come
12h30 55hz are my most favorite speakers ever! I have the scumback version mixed with a j75 (a slightly smaller magnet) and they sound amazing together!
Bought a '78 JMP Master Model 2203 in April. It's a beast through a 4 x 12 with G12M greenbacks. Sorry, Neighbours. Hahah
I have a handful of "THE" vintage amps to own, but my 1976 2203 is still my favorite!
Yes, I have a bunch of amps I've collected over the decades, some I still use, others collecting dust, but my favorite amp by far and the one I've had the longest,, over 30 years now is my '79 JMP 2203 half stack!
My 79 2203 is my all time fave amp
Awesome! The Phil X Marshall!!
I've had lost of marshall amps, plexis etc.. But i kept the 77 2203 i bought new,and still have it.
We have seen that you have had the opportunity to play through many vintage Marshall amps and it is wonderful that you have found one that you like the best Cheers Johan thanks for the demonstration
Yeah I’ve had the pleasure to play many great Marshalls. Ragnars red Superbass stack and Pleximasters 67 beast and 63 JTM45 are mind blodig amps and for some styles superior to this one. Cheers!
2204 circuit is a true sound classic, as you show here Johan. I bought a new JMP 1987 in 1982, a couple of years later I rebuilt it to a 2204 but left out the 1nF cap on the gain (volume) pot. That made it warmer sounding than standard 2204.
That amp got a lot of praise from everyone that heard it; it was paired with a 1976 Marshall 4x12 bass cab G12M-25 55Hz Blackbacks. I used it on almost every recording during late '80s early '90s. A friend bought it when I was broke; he still have it and it's still used for his recordings.
Despite owning some 50w NMV heads, when I got my '79 2203 I just knew it was my gigging amp forever. People say the NMVs are better, but you've nailed it when you say this is the rig that you use the most. This is an amp that, stock, can get all the tones in a usable way. One problem I have is Stratocasters sounding too weak in the mix when switching from an SG. I still need to learn how to quickly adjust the rig, either by pedal or EQ, to suit a Strat. This is helpful.
Thanks! Glad to hear that
I suggest just get a little booster pedal to use for weaker guitars. I had a TC BLD pedal I used for that back in the 80s, but any gain pedal with maybe a tone control can do it if you adjust it for just a mild boost.
@@mobydick3895 I've tried that a little with an MXR Microamp, but it tended to make the sound a bit too harsh. Something with an EQ, like an RC Booster, I plan to experiment with next.
Just use an MXR 6-band EQ to thicken up the Strat. It works and quiet too.
My dream amp. Love whenever you do a video about it.
Glad to hear it!
I gigged for many years with a JCM 800 2204 and am lucky enough to currently own a different 800 2204 that I had modded back to 1981 spec, which I believe closely resembles the MV JMP circuit. My favorite Marshall sound, hands down! Well done!
Cool. My main gigging amp is a 1977 2203 and I set it almost exactly like that: P-0, B - 10 , M - 8, T - 2, MV 2-3, Pre 6-8. Small variations depending on the room. Using an HSS strat.I think the 2204 is a little warmer, and the 2203 is a little punchier. Great video on what I believe is the #1 rock and roll amp of all time.
Thanks Aaron!
My 79 JMP 2203 is the best amp I’ve ever played. Like it way more than any NMV Marshall I’ve tried, including my current 71 1987.
I use it with a 77 slant with the original 55hz 30 watt Blackbacks on top and V30’s on bottom. I like that cab better than my 68 Greenback cab.
Great work Johan 👏👏👏
Thanks Zachariah!
Well one year later and the 71 1987/68 Greenback cab has moved to #1 😊
I had three different Marshall MV amps in the beginning: 2104, 2204 and 2203 (not at the same time). Always thought, how can I make this sound the way I want. After I got my first non-MV amp, what a relief it was. That was the sound I was always wanting! Now, a bit later I have modded my 1959 to have cascaded channels. Again, what a discovery for me. This is what I've always wanted! I guess this is a natural development that is happening. You always find something new that you want.
Yeah indeed, the main task for the amp is to inspire the playing
The settings you used really surprised me how great they sounded, but were somewhat opposite of what I would have expected. I however don't have the luxury of running stuff cranked to 11! Absolutely fantastic sounding with both the Strat and the LP. God bless and rock on brother.
Thanks J! It actually sounds very similar at bedroom volume level. This video is at really low volume: ruclips.net/video/8o7lWVF0YCo/видео.html
Rock on brother!
Johan you're bang on. Had one of these as a teenager but only played metal subtlety not an issue. All the band's I saw at the time played through walls of these! HOWEVER.. only recently I realised the crispy clean tone is perfect. And now I can't afford one. Oh well. I've found I can this tone with a Peavey classic and the all important TREBLE BLEED
Definitely a holy grail amp. On my bucket list. Great demo.
Thanks!
I have to agree with you because I know this from experience. 2204 jmp 1980. The one that got away.
Damn. That´s hell of a sound! For me THIS is the definition of a "rock guitar"
Thanks Peter! I’m glad to hear that!
First Valve amp I had was a near mint 1979 Marshall 2204 Master lead MkII Head that I bought in 1985. It was one with the lower Plate voltage, 380V or thereabouts. Sounded fantastic. Kept it for about 25 years. Probably shouldn't have sold it!
Thanks again for another great video. Marshall 2202 and Johan Segeborn - both are legends in 2022!!
That les paul sounds amazing but that strat is magic.... and I don't even play or enjoy them that much. Great video as always and playing.
the 77. i have one of these and a 78 they're completely different. this is the amp. metallica records all their guitars with this head. this is the holy grail. paired with a 4x12 of G12-H30 55hz greenbacks this is it.
I call you the marshall guy. On all of youtube i dont think amyone reviews as many proper marshall amps as you ..i like your cranked amps comparison vids .keep up the good work
People seem to think the mv doesn't work so well on these for some reason, but it does. Very well. I have gotten great tone for years at home levels with my 2203x.
I bought my first new Marshall in 1977. It was the JMP MkII NON master amp. Had I known at the time that these existed, I would have bought the 2204 instead. I didn't keep the JMP for very long because it was so loud that nobody wanted me in their band.
I currently have a Wangs 2204HW clone. It's based on this same amp from 1976/77 that predated the JCM800. Incredible circuit in these amps.
Johan, your demos and comparisons are the tops.
I cannot find a single video with a shootout of the 2204 vs the MkIII 2500. Some claim they sound exactly the same, some claim the MKIII are an abomination.
Perhaps, you could settle it once and for all.
I Love mine too :), i ended up selling my JCM 800 2203x for a great condition 1980 JMP 2203 (all stock except tubes) and the difference is night and day.
Hi! What are the differences between 2203x and jmp 2204 in your opinion?
@@mikkiosantoro1 There are 2 major differences (the rest is negligible since their tone is basically the same).
The first one is that the 2203x was way more icepicky and bright than the JMP 2203 especially at lower volumes the JMP being warmer (however i would kinda give it to the JCM since we literally are comparing a newly amp of like 6 years to a one of 40+ years so obviously that there would be differences in brightness due to aging).
But the second and perhaps most interesting is in the delivery of the sound. The JCM 800 would deliver in Punchier way similar to a punch to the gut and the JMP 2203 was more like in a fuller 3D ambience type and also the distortion is more meaty sounding (less compressed and immediate of the JCM). Thats it.
@@mikkiosantoro1 But tbh, you cant really go wrong with either, i had only sold the 2203x for a JMP because i didnt have the time to have the amp get it break in time period (or changing the tubes for that matter) and also that the JMP 2203 was at a really reasonable price at the time.
Dont forget that you can still find an original JCM 800 2203 from the early 80s (horizontal inputs), it is expensive asf right know but you can find them still.
The master volume on these actually works really well. My JMP 2103 (100W 2x12 combo) sounds great at low volume. Of course they sound best when turned up, but perfectly useable when relatively quiet.
I haven’t played the 2103 yet. I’m really about that one. What speakers do you have in your? Cheers
@@JohanSegeborn the original McKenzie's quit at exactly the same time, thankfully got the amp switched off before anything else like the transformer got damaged. I switched those out to a couple of G12H-75 Creambacks and absolutely love them, a perfect replacement, they have so much punch! If you ever find yourself in Northern Ireland, I'd be honoured for you to "crank it"!
Awesome! I have a JTM C12 cab I use two different speakers in. One is a G12-65 from 1980 and the other is a G!2M from 82~IIRC. Those are my favorite speakers, not everyone has favorite speakers, you have very good taste! Rock On!
Thanks, glad to hear it! Yeah G12-65 is a killer speaker!
Hey Johan..Your right..This is the best Marshall ever made!!!
I have never even noticed you used different mic positions for your strat and Les Paul. Thanks for the deep dive on your setup. You have a great ear and record some epic tones for us
Thanks Andy!
Damn that strat sounds fantastic on this rig. The Les Paul always sounds great too. But there’s some awesome magic happening with that strat and this setup. Really awesome video, really awesome rig. Way to go brother.
Thanks brother, great to hear that!
Just scored one...a '79. I love it! Great playing, Johan!
Let's go !!! Thx Johan I enjoy when you provide more commentary cheers !!!! 🤙🤙🤟🤟🤙🤙 dang I just love the scratchy squacky chime of that amp !!!
I'm glad to hear you use the master volume at 2 lol. I very rarely take my 2203 above 2 because it just blows my ears out, yet I get really good tones from it. I'd go so far as to say I found THE tone I was searching for. Great video as always 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks! :-)
I play my 79 2203 at 3 on the MV(4 on the Preamp) and I get a KILLER tone. 2 on the MV sounds great too.
I cannot agree more, the 2204 and 4010 are the greatest amps ever made. The 4010 is even better when stacked on a 1933 cab!
This is my favourite amp, too. Mine are from 1980 with relatively close serial numbers. The fucking best amp they ever built, I like it the most with a classic stack of JCM900 1960s.
The 2204 Lead JMP is my favorite Marshall ever made. If you ever see one for sell, do what you can to buy it!
Yes indeed! I bought a 1978 2104 last January in no small part due to Johan’s videos….
Hi Johan 👋
I have had a lot of problems with my JMP for few years!
I have replaced everything that supposed to be serviced ….. and much more!
😞
And sometime sound better , sometime really suck! Kind of off focus , and distorted in not so pleasant way!
And at the end I found it was the wall voltage!
Now I’m realising all my troubles started when I moved to my new house!
The place I moved from was ~110V!
In my house around 120V~124V!
I never even assumed 10V could matter so much!
I bought a Variac similar to the one in Your video about the “brown sound”!
And then I found not $10V!?!
Two volts can make a difference!
Also it was variable during the day!
These $60 are probably one of the most well spend money in my life!
😊
My voltage sweet spot came to be $115V
I have connected a nice meter to one of the sockets ,And any time I turn it on, I check the voltage and fine tune it to 115V!
And the damn thing sings now!
Every single time!
But the best part of all was, I have found ….I am not crazy!
😁
You have Variac!
Find Your sweet spot, and keep one eye on it!
And it is not like I live in some “banana country”!
I live in The U.S.
But still wall wall voltage moves around during the day!
Not much, but evidently enough to make the difference!
All Good My Friend!
👋
And trust me!
You won’t regret it!
Yes ! Much love for the JMPs !!
I'm kind of particular (let's say, snobbish, haha) about what I think are good Hendrix tones, so I was skeptical about how well you could do it with a MV amp, but you really impressed me here. Great demo!
Thanks, great to hear that!
Thank you brother for all these videos of guitars and amps that must of us don’t have access to nor ablility to do comparisons ourselves..!😊
I have a 78. It sounds amazing
I’m absolute agree, jmp 2204 is for me, the best Marshall... but remember that until 76 model, is different (both inputs could be used at the same time), since 76 model has more gain (even at low volume) with the “cascade” preamp
Yeah indeed! It’s weird that they left the 50W uncascaded but not the 100W in the first year
@@JohanSegeborn yep, for more references, i read the vintage Marshall’s guide from solo Dallas...
(I have had a copy of a jmp 2204 made to a local boutique manufacturer)
Hey Johan, your tips on the settings for this amp were very helpful for me dialing in my Ceriatone Plexi50 1967 especially for bright guitars. Thank you! Cheers.
Outstanding.Thats as good a Strat sound as you’ll ever hear.Beautiful amp.
I'm a die hard Peavey Cult dude but I gotta agree that the Marshall JMP MkII is the greatest thing to ever come from Marshall. It's got some Plexi in it and some JCM800. Great feel and tons of ability. This probably why I love the Peavey VTM so much. Basically the same amp but for less then half the cost of the JMP.
Someone give me $2500 so I can get a JMP! ;)
Such a sweet love letter to an amazing amp you have here.
Thanks! Glad you like it! I hope to do the VTM here soon. Cheers
@@JohanSegeborn I hope you can get your hand on one! Word of caution.... it weighs a pound for each watt it is rated at, not even joking.
Have you guys played the Peavey 6534+ head unit !?
It's amazing but I would like to ask you guys how it compares to the Marshall !?
@@AuntAlnico4 I have not tried it but I will admit that the 6505/5150 never really impressed me anyway. Too stiff and dull sounding to my ears. Didn't really inspire me to want to play it when I was. The 6534 didn't sound that much different from the 6505 in any demos I have heard either.
Great video congrats. I have several MV JMPs but if I had to keep only one of those it'd most probably be my '77 JMP2204.
Great video as always Johan. Especially big thank you for settings and mic'ing explanation. Thank you so much
Thanks, glad to hear that!
Throughout the video I would think I like the strat more, then it would be I like that Gibson, then, no the strat....
Guess that means they both sound great! Interesting that you roll off all of the presence and the treble for the strat. Those single coils are very bright
A distinctive growl on bass and ear-piercing highs... that's pure tone extasy!
Had one in 1979....superb tones...they don't make them like this anymore
Rock of ages! Marshall is the goat
Cheers :-)
Great demo, nice riffing. This amp sounds awesome, rocking vintage tones.
Damn those single coils sounded rather tasty. Thanks again Johan!
🤘🏻🖤💥
Thanks! 🤘 Glad to hear it!
Great amp, you can carve out of it the sounds that made history in Rock, what could you ask for more?👌🏼 Cheers Johan!
Cheers Vincenzo!
Thanks Johan. I really appreciate the tips on micing, room mics, polar patterns, mixing/EQing different combinations of mics, panning, mic preamps etc. All the details on the production side that many guitarists don't think about to capture a great guitar tone. I'm going to try moving the close mic out and off-axis as you suggest in this video for the Strat tones.
I asked Greg Germino to build me a recreation of the 67 Superbass "Fender Killer". I paired it with one of his new cabs with a set of Webers and it's a great sounding amp that has gotten much better after it settled in a bit with some loud playing (there was a lot of ghosting with that circuit initially). It's got beautiful clean tones and not much gain. One thing I think I've realized after looking into attenuators and studying some of the videos on your channel is that the Hotplate (and probably some other attenuators as well) seem to add gain. I find the quality of the gain is very different as well and a concept that I hadn't thought about or realized much before. It's almost hard to hear the gain, but it's there and it sounds more like a clean violin or cello than a distorted amp. It's hard to describe because I almost thought it was dead clean sounding until I made some recordings. I think the high sound pressure levels also tend to effect the perception as well as probably some mechanical smoothing that the speakers/cab do to soften the gain vs reducing the volume with attenuation/MV/PPIMV etc.
Keep up the great videos. Thanks again.
Just as Michelangelo was a master artist, Johan you are a master of great tone. Rock n Roll my friend. Cheers! - K 🎨 🖼🤘🏻🎸🔊
Thanks my friend, that’s kind of you! Cheers
Well done Brother! Both guitars are glorious through your favorite amp!
Thanks for using the Strat Today!
Thanks for sharing your methods and Mayhem! Be Well All!
Thanks my friend, be well you too!
Awesome Johan! This was my first Marshall as a teenager. Wish I still had it but it wasn’t as chimey-probably just needed an overhaul. Strat is perfect with this 👍🏻
That's all any bad sounding vintage Marshall ever needs.
Thanks Andy! Great to hear that you like it! Cheers
Yes the best Marshall ever. The 2x12 50 watt combo is a dream rock amp! You just set the preamp knob to 10.
I had always wanted to see a video about your setups and I am happy you chose this model! I have the 78’ FAWN JMP 2203 that I run through a 2x12 and it has a legendary tones Lynch mod in the back to add an extra 12ax7 and it has a deep switch that I like to use to kinda balance the highs and such! I just always wanted to know how to EQ this beast of an amp and voilà! You made another great video. Thanks!
Thanks Hunter! Great to hear that! Cheers
I have this one combo model at home. Use it on all my recording productions through a power attenuator into diff cabs on my ua apollo soundcard. Sounds amazing.
Great run through of the setup, Johan! Thanks for sharing
Thanks, glad to hear that!
One of the best tones I have heard is an early recording of tool in a small club in Philadelphia, JC Dobbs 1992 he is using a Marshall much like yours post 76 jmp this video on RUclips song " sober"
hope you find this and give it a spin, his les paul and amp sound good
Great sounding amp I really like how it sounds with the 1x12, the closest one I have is the 4104, 50 watt 2x12 JCM 800, definitely different tone but very close. Great tips on mic placement and how to mix the different mics. Thanks for sharing this wonderful amp! Enjoy, Johan, stay safe!
Thanks Mark! Yeah the 4104 will sound very close through Greenbacks. Stay safe and Cheers!
@@JohanSegeborn true. The previous owner of my 4104 put in 30 watt G12H 70th Anniversary Celestions. Not sure how they would be against the original speakers or greenbacks
Great great tones!!!!
Thanks Michael!
Johan you are giving away your secret recipe man. I hope this is not goodbye or something. You have never confessed your favorites so explicitly.
Here’s an explicit confession: you are my favorite person on RUclips.
Maybe it’s for the best we never met because we would have gone on tour and rocked probably a little too hard and would still be in rehab now.
Hahaha! I hope we meet! Great that you like the channel! The channel will go on forever, I’m actually ramping up! Cheers
My Main Marshall is a 1981 JMP 2204..it does everything beautifully.
I had the 2x12 combo version, fantastic amp! I am sad I sold it…
I had the 100 watt best amp I ever had. Always regretted letting it go. LOUD as hell
I have '79JMP 2204 with a 1960B cab loaded with 25w England Greenbacks. I play Gibson guitars with p90 exclusively. I always plug into the High channel because...well..thats where the destruction lives!🤙
Sounds fantastic!! That strat tone is to die for!!!!! Hendrix vibes for sure! Add a octaver and a fuzz and you are there!
Nothing beats a Marshall!!
Indeed! 🤘
I still like the 2203 better . I like how the bass and gain reacts with the extra headroom . I have a 1978 . Love the video
That 10k cold clipper has some magic in it as well. All that clipping we hear in the preamp and how than translates downstream into phase inverter overdrive.
I have a 78 Marshall 2204. . Fine amp . Rory Gallagher used the combo version
I love this one too, it’s a bit brighter if you are a Les Paul guy it’s a good blend. A small box 2x12 with a 65watt and a pre garbage vintage 30 is what I would use it with.
Hi, Johan!
Only I can say is I will save this video for the future plans! You made a great work, man!!!!👍1000 likes. And I wish, one day I will play on the full stock amp in this life!
See you!

👍
Thanks my friend I really glad to hear that! See you!
LP Custom obviously sounds great......but it's the Strat that sounds surprisingly good in this context.
Very cool. Thanks again for the quality content Johan.......
This is what we're all here for!
Cheers Josh!
you've got ears of gold my friend
Thanks my friend!
I do agree that the 2204/2203 MARSHAL is the best distorted base tone of ANY amp ever made.
Great work as usual johan !.. im looking for 1 of these or plexi..for next amp...this is really nice tone
Thanks Michael!
Well this is the one I have 100 w master volume Mark 2 could never figure out or anybody else what this one was? I'm glad I'm ran across yours in this vid
Excellent informative video !! Thanks Johan !!
