Yes I love it, I have a couple of freshwater sponges growing at home in my ponds but this one is a hard one to grow, I have tried it before, it is a shame it would look nice, I have seen it in a few places my self now as well, normally in fast moving streams like this one.
Beautiful, Jason. I love the intro from the air, then the creek at water level. Nice to end on another shot of the creek (presumably further downstream). Interesting to see a naturally deformed fish (3.23) that survived to adulthood. Great stuff!
Your Wild Biotype videos are always interesting, and well worth watching. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching and your kind comment Doug 🙂🐠
That green sponge is stunning! I've seen it at Gunlom in Kakadu and at Florence Falls in Lytchfield National Park In the NT.

Thank you, I think it just adds a bit more interest, yes I left that footage of the deformed Rainbow just to show some do survive 🙂
Really cool seeing this area and all the different species of fish! Was that a freshwater sponge near the 1.30 mark or an algae?
Thanks Seb, yes a freshwater sponge, I never get sick of seeing it growing in freshwater creeks.
