So many comments about how much they love Oli. Why isn't anyone saying how passionately Lee is head banging or that Jordan's voice is actually pretty good.
Oli is the frontman of the band so it's natural if people give him more attention. The other members are amazing though.

Oli needs to rest a bit, he has such beautiful cleans vocals and does good screams but it's not healthy at all singing like this. I love oli and the rest of the band, they are better than ever and better musicians with this new style. I know, it's different from what they have done earlier but hey, SOMETIMES bands wants/needs to change, it's part of a musician.

Jordan is such a great addition to the band. He and Oli work so creatively together, and it shows in That's The Spirit. Plus, he has a great voice. Love these guys.

If necessary I would want BMTH to cut their live performances short so Oli's vocals could go on a bit longer while we have him. I can even live with their studio versions. They're splendid artists and I want them to record as long as they can no matter what.
Imran Sahir Well they are going to have a long break before they start touring again. I do agree tho, they should cut the performances short. Now if it's for something special yeah play a lot of songs but for the not so special places play short.
Seeing Oli's wedding band made me so happy. And Jordan's voice is fantastic in this and Lee is just so passionate when playing and aw I love them

There are a lot of people that criticize Oli's voice but he has worn his voice out because is dedicated and gives everything hes got to show his appreciation for the fans that payed to see BMTH. As a screamer I know the feeling of sometimes losing your voice. Something I know from experience is that if you scream you'll have difficulties singing especially after his long career of only screaming and the drug addiction there were consequences but I admire him for his dedication. THIS IS MY OPINION, if you dont agree with me that's alright. There is no need for hateful comments. Love to you all

Whenever I'm in my textiles class and we listen to the radio in between stuff like Justin bieber this song comes on. Every time. And I'm always so happy when it does.
This song is in a Drop D for anybody who plays guitar but when they play live it's in a Drop C# but the original tuning is Drop D.
Tried playing it in both..Chorus is better in Drop C# but intro sounds odd

-Philip- The original tuning is Drop D man. Look how they play it and look up the tabs for it. It's possible to play it in a C but D is the original.

All these comments sayin' "Oli can't sing his own songs," and "His voice is awful." But, guys, if you noticed it, this is an improvement if you'll compare it to his previous performances of these songs. At least now he's singing the new songs live unlike their Reading 2015 performance where they used backtracking and Oli was just miming. This is an improvement, Oli is now singing even though it's not as good as the studio version, HE IS NOW SINGING.

It seems wrong to get a One Direction ad before watching this.
Everyone's whining saying he "needs a break" because he looks in pain... he isn't, he's just using his vocals in a different way that he used to. This looks like it was around mid way through the show or the end, it's normal for him to look and sound like that.

+Nikkij G when he does sing it sounds fine. the other 40% of the song when he's just miming or silent is the issue. I can't think of ONE other 'live rock' vocalist out there that only sings 60% of the lyrics live. Nothing wrong with just being a studio band, don't get me wrong.

Oli Sykes wrote a song about a previous relationship where he was betrayed by his lover. He no longer wanted to deal with her and believed he would take revenge because Karma couldn't escape.

I'm glad when Jordan does backup vocals. I think he gives Oli the chance to rest a little bit. Especially at Throne(at BBC radio I think). When he says:The sticks and the stones that you used to throw have...... His voice is really damaged. I am super happy that Jordan in a way helps him.

CristianKirk For Sleepwalking they play a whole step down. It was in Drop D and they went straight down to Drop C.

Actually, with Lee, Matt Kean and Matt Nicholls staying, true fans should be grateful. Because you can see that this is what the band really wants. And not only Oli and Jordan wants this path, but all of them. Im talking about their new sound tho. And with Oli's singing and screaming now, lets just all be happy because he is still here and still giving us songs that actually makes more deep sense that other pop mainstream songs out there now.

+Erin Brooks i saw him live yesterday 10x as good as in this video i really don't know why they uploaded this instead of another performance because the only time you really noticed his voice giving up on him was during very specific parts of vocal singing but the screaming was on point and he didn't hold back because of pain at all he just gave it absolutely all and for that some mistakes can be forgiven in my humble opinion

in my experience and from what i've seen, pushing on your diaphragm helps to sustain/push out notes that aren't quite in the vocalist's range

I don't care what genre Oliver wants to do or if he wants to sing or scream or growl or yell. But I do want to see him actually singing the live songs, instead of outsourcing 70% of the performance to backing vocals, pre-recorded playback, or the crowd.

I saw BMTH last night in Cardiff and they sounded nothing like this! The music was if much better standard and Oli really didn't sound in pain at all. He was singing and screaming in all the right parts and it was all clean!!
